RCMP Police Check Requested

Wanted to get a timeline going to see if there is a relationship between the date of the RCMP police check request and the date of the PPR (Passport Request). Mainly looking for inland CEC applicants who were required to submit a RCMP police check and got PPR later. I noticed some people also got a Schedule 4 request after the RCMP request. I also noticed for 2 people those requests were almost exactly 5 weeks apart.

Post the date of your RCMP request and any other date for a Schedule 4 request or PPR.

Doesn't seem to be a lot of people. It's not too surprising that a Malaysian resident is required to submit an RCMP certificate given that it is a Muslim country.

Any other Malaysians been requested an RCMP police check?

Okay, I see you got PPR about 4 weeks after your submitted your RCMP request. There seems to be a bit of a pattern from the 3 signatures I've seen.

Very quick! About 7 days from getting fingerprints taken to having the RCMP check in my hand. I live in Toronto so add a couple days if you are in Calgary. I realized that CIC will request fingerprints on individuals whose name on a Canadian ID doesn't exactly match the passport name. In our case, the ordering of the names was different since Malaysians don't have a first & last name on their passport. This is also why automatic check-in at most western airports is impossible.

Well it took me a good month , as Winnipeg local police station had some issues in sending the prints over , I had to be consonantly on their back to make sure my prints were forwarded.
I gave my prints on July 30th, It reached rcmp on 18th , I got it by mail on 31th aug.
