one of my friends received RCMP fingerprint based record check request. He had record of minor shoplifting charges back in 2012. His charges were withdrawn and fingerprints got removed. Will it take upto 120 days to receive RCMP or few days because he has no pending charges but only a history of minor charges ?

The RCMP request should happen in IP1, at least in my case. I got it right after medical passed. So after you submit it, they will review it and see if you are missing any more documents. If not, you will go to NA2 while they do eligibility assessment.

Nope not right away. If your RCMP doc is fine then you will pass criminality.
