Realistically, its going to take time to make changes as they need to pass the proposal in the house and agreed upon by majority before bill gets implemented. it might take couple of months or more. But they can start issuing more ITAs and that will help in lowering cut offs.

To change the express entry system , I don't think they would need to get the bill implemented. The changes can be implemented by John Mccallum if all the liberal party cabinet ministers are convinced with all the reports that are collected over the span of last few months. I stringy believe that would agree/disagree upon the changes and might introduce the new streamlined express entry system before or at the same time when they announce the immigration quotas for the next three years in this November.

True. No bill needs to be called and implemented. IRCC can effectively apply new changes to the system as soon as they want. What we need to know if when Mr.McCallum will officially announce these changes.

Hello, Everyone! I am a 27yrs old IT Business Analyst with 3 yrs experience and 8.5 ILETS. I have created my Express Entry profile on July 20th and I have scored 478. I know I am a dumb one and if I have created the profile two months back, I would have directly received ITA. Now I am looking at the PNP options to get the extra 600 points and to make sure that I receive the ITA.

I have checked 'All Provinces and Territories' in my profile, so does that mean that even if I do not apply anywhere there is still a chance that Ontario or BC can send me invitation through MyCIC? I am not a fan of PNP cause I do not want to be stuck in one place but seems there are no other options now?

Sorry, I have a lot of questions and probably I have thrown them all over the place.

Please have some respect for the forum and post your question to an appropriate thread. Don't trash all over the place just to get your question answered.

There is a huge sub section for PNP, and a thread for BC PNP 2016

Post anything you want in there.

Hi Alexios, sorry mate :-) I actually had a bit of frustration seeing that bar goes up like a rocket and had some questions in my mind, mixed them up. Thanks for the suggestions and I modified my comment. Have a good day!

No worries. I've responded to your answer in the BCPNP thread.

I share your sentiment....if I filed my EE profile a few months earlier, I would have made it in the more lenient draws, but alas, we need to work on the cards dealt to us. My suggestion would be to apply to as many provinces that are still open. The 600 points they award is a huge boost to your chances (plus getting nominated by a province means majority of your documents have been duly reviewed already) :)

Hi, raven..i just wonder if we could change to visitor while waiting for ITA right? Or leaving is the only way?
If so, what we need to apply for a restoration as visitor? And how long does it take for that processing?
Thanks bro..

Hey Chautrach, sure you can, if you can afford to live solely as a visitor, without any work authorization. Yes, you need to apply for a restoration to visitor in case your legal permit expired, or just file for transition to visitor status anyway, still using the same form (IMM 5708) but don't select "Restoration" option at the beginning of the form. And write in a letter of explanation that you want to change status to a visitor (and stop working of course).

They only need to change a few bits and peaces to make EE an efficient system.

Guys read this link http://www.oopnp.com/2016/08/25/cic-41st-draw-was-cec-lmia-french-speaking-specific-fsw-draws-coming-in-september/

"The next draws 42nd to 48th draws are expected to remain in the score range of 475-540 and both FSW and CEC candidates are expected to be cleared with each draw inviting close to 1000 candidates."

if this is the case am sitting at 451 and i lost all hope for ITA ... God save me
This article looks like a pure speculation of the writer. Anyone who is working for the government will never disclose info to anyone. Secondly, they are saying "The next draws 42nd to 48th draws are expected to remain in the score range of 475-540 and both FSW and CEC candidates are expected to be cleared with each draw inviting close to 1000 candidates."
How can FSW or CEC candidates will be cleared when the score is such high.
Please don't follow this website, even if it is true

And that is what it is. Yet another piece speculating about upcoming draws. This is no different than "predictions" that some people make based on nothing. To throw exact figures is more illogical.

With 714 candidates being invited to apply for immigration to Manitoba and around 600 for British Columbia, will it affect CRS score in the upcoming draws?
Share your thoughts please.

Where did you get these figures? And what about Ontario Nomination?

Sasketchawan opened 700 PNPs today.. more reasons for higher cut off.

hopeless situation again for FSW

Not all provincial nominees can apply through express entry. Many still have to go through the old system. Most provinces issue only a fraction of their nominees certificates valid for Express Entry.

No I think with the PNP nominations we should expect the next draw cut off to be +500..
