Guys I feel your pain! Especially intl students because I was one too!

FSW applicants got nothing to lose if they cannot make it to Canada. Their life was never based on this country anyway! But for those who studied, worked, probably married and lived in Canada for about half a decade, to waste their PGWP and lose their Canadian life as a result of the ridiculous reduction in ITA, is a tremendous blow too hard to take.

I just posted on John McCallum's Facebook and Twitter regarding this issue. You guys with 1 year of Canadian working experience should have been qualified for CEC prior to the introduction of EE. The abrupt reduction in ITA without other policies to cover the gap it created this problem for you intl students.

So please make sure your voice is heard! Post this issue to JM's and other Liberals' pages, also maybe reach to your local MP's office to raise your concern. If CEC is one of the rules, the current EE system apparently does not play with it!

In future when you call your parents and apply for PR remember your words. They will not lose anything staying in their country. Their life was never based on this country anyway! but pass on their PR to other deserving intl students.

Guessing with observation

They have almost completed sending AOR and started with nomination process too for November applicants. They will not wait for many applicants to get nomination and incorporate some with increasing Draw. They will clear some in pool before hundreds of nominations are given. They will gradually increase up to 2000 ITA but today the beginning of increase will be watchful. High time to see some changes. After all temporary pause has to be temporary.

I guess 900 ITA CRS below 475

I still call it a guess with words like "almost", "gradually", "high time" etc. :)
These words are desires/hope until and unless backed by Official Data.
I also wish your below 475 guess gets through today as I'm in that range too. Cheers!

Holy f, I am just 461 currently, I guess this time there is no hope for me. Neither next time. But hopefully by the end of the year.

CRS scores are expected to fall by September as per the IRCC speaker's speech from Newcomers Canada Fair, held at the Shaw Conference Centre, in Edmonton

Let's hope for the same. Some downward trend in CRS or/and more ITAs is what I wish for today.

D Day has come once again..

In addition to what DamhaSirah said, it is also because of the activities going on by OINP. They have diligently worked on giving AOR's and have started with nomination process which is a signal to something that is going to happen in September. They have made the process online for entrepreneur stream and are going to make it online for everyone. All this they are doing it before next quota is released. They must clear the existing files in order to do so and if they do so, many will get 600 points so in turn IRCC will increase draw size in September. Its all mutually planned. A draw here and there but BIG draw will definitely come soon. Hope its today !!!!

In 2015, there were 31000 ITAs for a quota of 75000. Now based on this trend, the total number of ITA would be 24000 for 2016.

17500 ITAs have already been issued and 6500 ITAs are remaining with 9 draws left.

If 24k is assumed to be correct, we will have average 7XX ITAs for all the draws!!
So, I'm interested in understanding your assumption of 24k.

Skilled worker quota for 2015 was 75,000 and the number of ITAs issued was 31000.

Skilled worker quota for 2016 is 59000. So using the same 2015 ratio, the number of ITAs in 2016 should be around 24000

do we have a draw yet ? how much time to go ?
