Immigration related announcement. I don't think it'll add any FSW related information, but here's the link. So far, it's just been self-congratulatory bullsh*t that nobody cares about. Hopefully they get to relevant stuff soon.

Hi...How did you get this information. I mean you say that most are stuck at Ottawa without any movement
People call and order notes and can see the progress so based on the information Ottawa has not touched FSW applications for a few months now. There is even a change.org petition which thousands of people signed.
Ottawa is the largest office and it much larger than any other offices so many FSWs were assigned to Ottawa.

Thanks for this info..

Another announcement made today.
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ic-policies/trpr-international-graduates.html

This means anyone who got a Canadian degree from 2017 onwards and is currently employed in Canada will be eligible for PR. No min work experience needed!

If you get a Canadian degree and secure a job, you get a PR! This is crazy. What's going on ?!
They'll do anything to meet their annual numbers to make the program as a whole look like a success.. They do claim this is temporary, so we'll see what that means for FSW.

Man! any hope for FSW? it feels like they're not expecting much applications through FSW hence targeting the inland applicants in all capacity!

"This public policy comes into effect on May 6, 2021 and will end on November 5, 2021 or once 40,000 applications have been received, whichever comes first."

No, I think only for those who degrees for some specific NOC, not all graduates from all NOCs

That's not what it says. Read the whole thing. This is limited to individuals working in trades.

Sometimes I genuinely feel like Canada was a bad decision. Anyway.. we move
