CE - 271/300

Co. 341/360

EE 287/450

EO 337/450

I gained 16 points for TEF.

But I guess I need to have clb 7 all through to get more .

Am sure with time this new grid system will be much clearer.

I guess clb7 in all skills for a jump of 20 points in your case.

Well, not for me, since my CRS got already frozen at AOR. But, I'm super excited about this change! I've been pushing people to learn french since the beginning of the year. This is, literally, the least expensive, quickest way to get an ITA.
With the right strategy, and extreme determination, you can arrive to a CLB7 in a matter of 6 months.
50 f***** points guys. Stop complaining, and start studying french!

Seems score might go high due to this recent development.
Very unlikely. People who already had CLB7 in french would already have the extra 30 points, so they would get the ITA anyway.
This change might benefit a few french native speakers, but that's it. In accordance with the 2019 EE Report, only 4% of the ITAs were given to candidates with bilingual skills.

That’s what I think too. TEF guys are very few. May be 170 out of 4200 ITAs

Yeah, but I also believe this will impact the CRS 6-12 months from now. More people might start considering french (specially considering french as the MAIN language + CLB5 in english). If the current 4% increases to 10-15% of the profiles invited, I wouldn't be surprised if we see a significant jump in the cutoff.
But again, that's mid-2021. For now, I don't think anything will change. If I had to bet, I believe the score for tomorrow will be 471. Maybe 470.

With all these back to back PNP nominations in this month, don't you think the score is going to get higher? I don't understand how this works, so I am only asking.

Some posts on Facebook actually reported the sudden increase in their CRS scores (20 f***** points). At least for 1 account, his CRS jumped from 460 to 480. So we cannot hide the fact that this policy change will affect the cut-off in the future.

A lot of people in the range of 450-470 will drastically get 20 points. As much as this is hard for a lot of people, it is exciting for many! Goodluck everyone.

Is it correct to interpret that the bonus for those candidates who score clb 7 in all 4 areas now stands at 50 from the earlier 30 points? So one can now score 12 + 50 = 62 instead of 12 + 30 = 42?
