Yes usually the maintenance can happen weekly but draws happen bi-weekly so sometimes can be a maintenance but no draw.
However, as far as i remember, every time a draw occurred, it was accompanied by maintenance.

I just went through the timeline of previous draws. There were very few draws that happened without any maintenance window. So I think the draws are not related to the system maintenance.
You wouldn't know if there was a maintenance would ya? There's no way to check maintenance archives, is there?
then let's hope next wednesday will be one of these very few times hopefully

If CEC/PNP happens again on Wednesday, f it, I think I will do again IELTS if available, to try and max out my score. Started studying french seriously last month, so planning to be on a solid B level by May as I am set to loose points for age. In that will be offsetting the loose of points.

I took person coaching from native teacher. Everyday 2 hours for 4 months.Also I myself put many efforts. Listening different audios, videos from YouTube. Also my teacher gave me some material.Apart from that I used to interact with other students for speaking.I bought delf books upto C2 level and solved.
Thanks for the reply. She will be settling down in Ottawa. So I guess I can then claim the points then. I was not sure if there is a minimum wait time before proceeding to claim the points.
