- I had a regular part time from June 2016 to Dec 2016, then I got temp full time from Jan 2017 to May 2017, after that I got regular full time from June 2017 to till present. It is under same Noc. How will cic assess my work experience? Will they count 20 months as I have 7 months of regular part time (30 hours/week) and 13 months of full time (37.5 hours/week) or it can be counted as 2 years 2 months starting from June 2016
It affects my points. I'm sitting at 425 with one year exp but my points will jump to 463 if I show 2 years of experience.

hang on a minute, are you saying you did no less than 30 hours per week from June 2016 till May 2017? If this is true than it is considered full time by IRCC not part time! IRCC says 30 hours per week is full time work. In that case you will get points for full time work from June 2016. Here the link-

- in the same type of job as your primary NOC
- within the last 10 years
- paid work (volunteer work, unpaid internships don’t count)
- at skill type 0, or skill levels A or B of the 2016 National Occupational Classification (NOC)
- at least 1 year (1,560 hours total / 30 hours per week), continuous:
- full-time at 1 job: 30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
- equal amount in part-time: 15 hours/week for 24 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
- full-time at more than 1 job: 30 hours/week for 12 months at more than 1 job = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
If you can’t show that your work experience meets the description in the NOC, you aren’t eligible under this program.

Hello, i have the exact same problem with my application. I have tried every possible solution you can imagine, clearing cache, using different browsers from different devices and different countries, a technical error report, a CSE, i linked my application to a different account but i still have the same error. Yea.. I had the opportunity of getting ITA last Wed.. I gambled on getting a direct one.. Now August 22 seems so far away. Medicals done, PCC done.. Just few within-the-office documents remaining.It is. I means, its like living your life in a 2 weeks increment

Then, I got a job a "temporary full time " with government organization from Jan 2017 to May 2017, which is now turned into permanent.
I'm not sure if cic will consider that temporary full time experience. In cic point calculator, they ask for continuous full time or equal part time. Nowhere it says they except temporary full time.
