All should take your advice and do whatever is in their control to move up the CRS ladder!

Extra ITAs were issued because they have to meet minimum immigration criteria, and since a lot of ITA invitees don't end up in canada due to either rejection or any other reason, 100% acceptance rate is not achieved. For example in 2017, 86,022 invitations were sent, 109,497 applications were received, 93,596 visas were issued and 65,401 permanent residents and their families were admitted into Canada.

So expect more than the "target" number of ITAs to be issued.

I would give you a 45% chance for ITA in the next draw if it happens on Aug 22nd with 3750 ITAs.

Hey Guys,

So what are the predictions? Will the number of ITAs increase and the score will come down?

If yes, how many ITAs and what will be the cut off score from September - December 2018?? :)

massive congrats, dodo. For all others, keep trying and I can't stress on this enough - practice everything out there and if you are scoring unsatisfactorily on the practice tests, DO NOT attempt the IELTS till you sort out your scores at home. Your level won't jump during the actual test!

I will need some guidance to fill up the application post ITA, hoping to get some help from all the lovely and warm people over here.

Or are you in a specialised field with serious labor shortages in Canada?

Well, Canada is not 'stealing' anything from you my friend. You have voluntarily decided to move here for your own reasons, and I am sure better quality of life is one of them. I am sure you are aware about various options to increase your score (learning French, re-taking IELTS, pursue education in Canada etc.).

I decided to move to Canada to pursue further education when the cut-offs were in 490's and getting an ITA was a distant dream.

I understand your frustration, I really hope that your get your ITA soon. Canada has a lot to offer and not 'steal'!
