The high CRS score this year is because of the huge number of people entering the pool. CIC only looks at only rank... They do not care about CRS scores.

the Ontario province is not by any chance obligatory and bound to strictly follow federals decision. They can change it if they feel like so. Hence, if the new premier DOug ford decides to stop immigration in Ontario right now, he has the power to do it.

Next draw likely to see 441 if that helps somebody over here..guys who maintain 438-440 till october stand a good chance because from August onwards expect 4000 ITAs..that would clear 1500-2000 people from 440 and below by October! Only worry should a 3 week draw before October !!

with two ielts results, it cant be 441 ever. Today many many people got clb 9 and another result is coming next week. Cutoff would be around 445 at minimum in the next draw. Also, there are people with provincial nominations too.

No, my application is with spouse, as the score doesn't change. It only changes today... down by 5 to 431..! In fact, its the other way round for me.

Wife is tired (after 7 attempts in 2 years) for giving IELTS again... and that if she gets CLB 9, it would take me to 436 again>> but can't push her anymore! Got other things to look after.

Sir, please do not spread the scare / uncertainty by using something like "who knows".

No country that is welcoming Immigrants to fill up their manpower requirements and keep their economies rolling, would think of keeping families apart, that way it would be counter-productive for them. Understand this that they are asking whether your spouse will accompany you or not only to figure out what choice depending on your personal situation, are you going to make when you are making the application (different people in different situations will make different choices - applicants in EE come from world over, not a few select countries). Their objective is not to get one person in Canada who has declared spouse as "Non Accompanying" and then make life difficult for them by making spousal application hard / impossible so that couples / families are separated.

I had already said that the process might be different / slightly lengthy and all, consuming some more time or money, but on the long run (when you are intending to permanently settle in another country for your betterment), it shouldn't matter. Think about it.

On a lighter note (no offence), your name has the word hope, be like one!!

Basic doubt. Should an applicant update the latest IELTS score even if it's lesser than the previous one? Or he/she has the right to update the highest score? Considering both are valid, date wise.

You can keep your best ones till they are valid. No need to update if your latest scores are lesser than your previous ones, so long as they are valid.
