No, my application is with spouse, as the score doesn't change. It only changes today... down by 5 to 431..! In fact, its the other way round for me.

Wife is tired (after 7 attempts in 2 years) for giving IELTS again... and that if she gets CLB 9, it would take me to 436 again>> but can't push her anymore! Got other things to look after.

All the best to you, and enjoy the good time of with your little one!
Thanks making the most of it.

Does spouse have to apply through Spouse Sponsor Visa or she can apply through EE. As I see an option of "2) i. Is your spouse or common-law partner a citizen or permanent resident of Canada? " under CRS calculator tool.

Next draw likely to see 441 if that helps somebody over here..guys who maintain 438-440 till october stand a good chance because from August onwards expect 4000 ITAs..that would clear 1500-2000 people from 440 and below by October! Only worry should a 3 week draw before October !!
Did you get the CLB10? With 443, you'll have a decent chance in next draw!

Nope!! No hopes now for me atleast!! 435 from Aug 1st :)
Oh, I'm sorry!
I sincerely hope for a good draw on 25th July with cut-off of 440 and tie-break at least after 10th May! You deserve the ITA man :)
Is there any option for your spouse to become PA and have higher CRS? I'm currently trying that with my spouse retaking IELTS on 28th July as the CRS with me as PA is only 431 :/

This is for the pool dwellers with (430 to 440), and can no longer realistically improve their points in due time. I am expressing immense appreciation for all the contributors to this thread. However, the analysts and trend assessors have been the driving force for this thread.

Thanks to them, the sometimes helpless (430 to 440) pointers have kept hope alive against all odds. Also, the highly stringent assessment of upcoming draws has helped to unravel what appears to be lopsided draw timeliness that seemingly favors new entrants into the pool over some equally capable 430 to 440 pointers, till they loose 5+points points due their increasing age.

Never say never, man :) Anything is possible with IRCC, you just need a draw on Monday or ~200 people/day at 440+ entering the pool!
Also, with 435 OINP will be definitely possible if and when they decide to open again, you may also look into the new SINP EOI based system if your NOC is in their list.

What is also disturbing is that they (430 to 440) might not be getting a fair chance, since it appears there are instances where draws have been put on hold for an additional week, when the normal draw schedule could have improved their chances of receiving ITA. Also, it seems the mass issuance of PNPs is being coordinated with selected provinces to coincide with draw timeliness that might have also favored this marginalised groups (430 to 440).

While I haven't researched much on this, I understand you have both this. EE is economic immigration program, but not the only immigration program. - hence if your spouse is able to contribute to the economy of Canada (educated, has work exp. & so on) and able to get enough CRS points at the time of her applying to make it above the cut-off, she can take that route (probably shorter time for application conversion here). However, if she can't make it to the cut-off at those times, spousal sponshorship is always an option (might be little longer). That way too, she can get a PR and then find work or do further studies there.

This is as much I as I understand in plain simple manner. Any visa (PR / Spousal etc.) process is only documentation - you just have to invest time and focus to get it right.

Hope this helps.

Others please enlighten if anyone has further info / knowledge on EE Vs. Spousal Sponsorship.

Thanks.

...... So keep the analysis coming as some of us can no longer improve our points realistically, except learn French (even if this extremely difficult endeavor is completed in due time, by then most of us could have lost more points than gained from the French exam due to our increasing ages). Alternatively , we could go for a 4 year PhD program, which upon conclusion the express entry could have been history. Thanks to the analysis we now know that a lot of people within the 430 to 440 rage have a Clb 9 and above in their IELTS, some have PhDs (another difficult endeavor). Just like every other pool dweller, we have tied huge resources down for over a year in some cases, while waiting for an ITA, that might never come. After waiting, for so long, and finally our calculations here reveals that the cream on top of this pool has been finally cleared and issued ITAs, alas the draw is put on hold again devastatingly, while new entrants jump in again.

Some might say that they have a target to meet so towards the end of the year they'll reach these 430 to 440 groups. By then a huge percentage of us would have lost 5+ points pushing us further into the dark annals of the express entry pool. We are forgetting that qualifying to be in the pool/queue at all, is a huge achievement on its own. But, to put the queue on hold when it finally gets to be your turn, till a new batch of candidates are placed in front of you, because they happen to be a year younger seems unfair.

Why not conduct the draws with transparent fixed timeliness, except for public holidays which should have just a +/-2 days effect on the draw date, which is understandable. The age of pool dwellers can also be fixed till their profile expires (after a year) or recreated. The back to back draws which was the only adjustment favoring the 430 to 440 appears to have been eliminated completely (I hope not), but so far this year we've had non, while 3 week draws are now here to stay with suspicious timings. To disprove this, back to back draws should be conducted to compensate some of those who lost out due to the mass issuance of PNPs, to maintain a sense of balance, so the optics don't appear rigged against these disenfranchise group.
