Thanks for your reply! Yes, in my letter, my employer indicated “Miss x’s part-time employment started in Sept.2013 as a general assistant. With increasing levels of training, she was hired full-time on July 1st 2016 as Retail Manager”. Is it good? Thanks!

Nice progression Miss X :)... yes it is a nice story development....
please make sure you do cover the part time period in your personal history/activities though...

Thank you!! Yes, I will make sure to include the part-time period in my personal history.

Now I am very looking forward to the next draw. Let’s pray for next Wednesday. :)

I had been worried to use NOC 0621 as a new graduate. But I do have 3 years experience before I turned to the manager. Hopefully that make sense to CIC! :)

As long as you have a story to tell ;) the case officer will understand :)

I know someone, who went from being a Recruiter -> HR Business Partner -> HR Manager -> HR Director... over a period of 10 years in the same organization

All these roles were highlighted with a start-end date, job responsibilities(for each role)... Salary package was mentioned for the last role...

I told this person, you are so boring... who stays 10 yrs in the same company :D

Hey guys, quick question: I started working in Canada under NOC A in September 2016, CIC will update my profile to 2 years Canadian work experience in August 2018, correct?

This is how I would calculate Daniel...
If your start date is 1 Sep 2016, than 2 years will be completed by 31st Aug 2018
