Here is your citation:
Life is funny (you missed mentioning that)
I got ITA on 6th Sept - which is my sister's birthday. I had CRS 466 with my wife.
My sister got ITA today on 11th April - my Birthday. CRS 481.
The idea was to show that strange things happen
And here is something from your signature
IELTS 6/24: O8.5: L8, R9, W8, S8.5 | WES ECA sent: 7/21 WES received 8/16 | Yup the dates in the signature are there to help others by providing a timeline to reduce anxiety
So with that said I have assumed following:
1. Because of your perfect English you are most likely native speaker, on native speaker level or specialized in English language. I am not a native English speaker. I am from India, English is my 3rd language if that helps
2. in order to get CRS 466 you would need following (all of this is needed)
- full transferability points (which is only achievable with Master degree or 2 diplomas unless you have Canadian experience, (which you do not seem to have) I don't have Canadian experience but I do have a Masters from US
- English CBL 9 or higher (which you have)
- low age - 30 or lower. (because at higher age you will start loosing points. that is why so many people are worried about their bday). (I was 32 when I got the ITA, I turned 33 today)
Because of your points and the CRS level of ITA last 8 months, you did not have to worry to get it. Then it is of course easy to write not to stress yourself. That's not the point if it's easy or hard for me to write "don't stress". My life trajectory has 0 impact on anyone reading my posts.
We (Indians) are very emotional and get attached to the process. We tend to speculate - and often you'll see people asking "What are my chances, what's the probability of cutoff going lower etc." all of this causes lot of anxiety. Then people would lose their cool if their status doesn't change or they don't get email right after cutoff is announced etc. The whole idea is to try and show target audience that Canadian PR (or anything in life) is a not a one stop solution. For example, If I have X , then my a,b,c, problems will be solved and I shall live happily ever after. That's not how life works.
I have commented that not all are in such situation (either to have lot of points or to have PNP to catch up). In that case it is rather difficult not to be emotional especially if they have invested a lot of time and effort already. Not all are in such situation. True, and not all will be invited to apply. Only a percentage of people will be asked to apply. Only a percentage of those who apply will actually end up in Canada. The immigration system of any country is designed that way. If one has invested lot of time and effort, then perhaps invest more effort in areas under one's control i.e. improving IELTS but there is only so much one can do. What if, for example, from the next draw - the cutoffs starts going in 500+ range? Wouldn't it be advisable to explore alternatives instead of getting anxious and emotional?
Other than that your comment was good, the beginning of it sounded a bit as a bragging.(Bragging? How? I fail to see that. I don't think anyone likes the idea of being policed. My intention wasn't to offend anyone, but simply tell readers that whatever problems they have in life, won't be solved by any 1 stop solution. Be it Canadian Citizenship or getting $100,000 magically appear in account. Building Financial wealth and emotional harmony in life takes time. Keep calm, see things (specially processes) logically, tactically, and devoid of emotions.
