Today's cutoff score will be 441 +/- 1. I forsee a gradual increase in the number of ITAs issued by about 250. This could occur as early as today but most likely on the 21st. The only reason the scores won't come down fast is the accumulation around 441. I estimate up to 400 are at 441.

Need a Guidance from the Experts:

I am living in China since 2008 but originally from India. I studied in China since 2008 to 2014. After graduation I found a job and started working. My company didnt change my visa status for 2 years and kept me on a student visa. Later in 2016 they changed the visa status from Student to Work permit. As my company already gave me an experience letter stating that I worked with them over 4 years but I am worried that whether CIC considers this work experience and can I mention 4 years experience on my EE profile?

OR

Is it mentioned on the PCC provided by the resident country that an individual lived there for ..... and ..... purposes?
I think as long as the letter from the company states 4 years, you should be okay and can mention 4 year's worth of work experience on your EE profile.

With regards to the Police report, every country's PCC is different. For example, the FBI PCC does not mention any dates except for the current one; it just says that you don't have any criminal record till date. Try to see a Chinese PCC first and if it's format is like the FBI PCC, then you're all set.

All the best.

but over the last year I have learned that IRCC is unpredictable so get that pizza ready... on serious note they have to give more ITA in mid of the year, as they have to ensure that people land before december to consider them in this years target...IRCC is all about how many people landed in this year (and not about ITA) so issuing ITA in October to December is kind of not helping...so they have to increase ITA in Mid of the year...only reason for 3000 ITA through out the year can be if they issued too many ITA's last year so this year's target is reduced....another reason is change due in April for medical...which will mean reduced rejection for medical reports which in term will impact on less ITA being issued (as there will be less rejections)....
Ok just analysed 2016 and 2017 and realised that 2016 target was 300k so kind of similar to 2017 however they only issued around 33000 ITA's in 2016 so if early 2017 was due to less ITA in 2016 then we are in trouble....and this year there will be no draws like 2017...this draw today will clear things out....

Last year march first draw was 434. Can miracles like that happen this time?
Last year's pattern was different unfortunately.... for some reason IRCC went berserk with ITAs in the first quarter of the year and the ones with CRS as low as 413 got lucky and got ITA's. Let's hope they go berserk again, and soon! :)

It doesn't matter what type of visa you had as long as legally its allowed you to study and work in that particular country. You can show your work experience while you were studying if it is outside of Canada. More specifically in your case you will not have any issues if you are allowed to work with a student visa in China.

Good Luck!

After we have the announcement of multilevel immigration plan, the applicant numbers surged to the recording breaking level whereas CIC turned out to be very miser in terms of ITA issuance & avoiding back to back draws. This has been quite a contradictory story that we had to go through in 2018 & that's continuing till now. When so many people are trying to take the privilege that CIC is providing in terms of PR, I think CIC might help us & at least start announcing draw date & sizes for the upcoming draws so that we can at least avoid wasting our times discussing & contemplating about our possible future & see a concrete future lying ahead of us. This is incredibly pathetic & really not something one should go through............

I agree with you. We are just waiting constantly hopelessly for draws not knowing what is in store for us. They should seriously release draw dates, sizes, scores and timings. :( I have just been staring at the clock hopelessly.

Yup, I agree that the suspense is quite painful and that this waiting game sucks bollocks. You have a good CRS though, try refreshing your profile and you in all likelihood will get an NOI from Ontario. It's been my savior in this emotional roller coaster ride.
