Hi @abhishek_89

Even if we see one back to back draw this week & the next draw after 2 weeks, do you think the cutoff will increase for the later draw compared to the former one? or say we see a draw tonight with 438 so for the next draw what can be a rough assumption on the cutoff? thanks
With 3000 ITAs being issued, I don't see the cut off going upwards (could stay on the same CRS score as the previous cut off in the worst case) atleast till it reaches around the mid 430s unless they have a 3 week gap draw. This is based on the last 3 month average intake data. If the average intake significantly increases, things could change.

When I started the process in 2016, Canada PR was almost an unknown entity. Now, the situation has changed and everybody in town is applying for Canada PR, which means there is a good chance for higher average intake at higher CRS score ranges.

You would need PCC from both India and USA.

What do you guys think would be the tie breaker date if the draw happens next Wednesday? Opened my profile in dec 25th with 441.
If the cut off is CRS 441 on Mar 7th, high chance for the tie breaker date to be some date in Jan 2018.

people with even 434 are waiting for direct ita & you are asking whether you ll get ita or not with 440? is your worry even validated? take a nap & you will receive ita in March. OINP is not for a high scorer like you and also by the time you ll receive your nomination from oinp you will have direct ita. congrats you just saved your $1500
Thanks , I am worried because of the back to back draw. Fingers crossed for 7th March now.

Mexico requires a letter from IRCC in order to process a PCC. So if he needs it they will let him know after receiving his application and give him said letter so he can request it.
"How to Get a Police Certificate – Mexico
Do I need to provide a Police Certificate with my Application? No. We will send you a letter requesting a police certificate after you send your application for permanent residence or citizenship. You must bring that letter when you apply for a police certificate."

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/police-certificates/how/mexico.html
Slightly confusing information for countries like Mexico and NZ. I have procured the PCC on my own (as per information given on another link on the IRCC website ), and attaching the consent form given on the website . IRCC can use whatever they want to.

Hello all,
I am super confused on how to proceed with PCC given my situation and will really appreciate any help.
2007:
1. Until Midday Jan 21: Lived at my home country
2. Jan 21 departure stamped on my passport (have a PCC that was issued to me on Dec 17, 2006 for USA student visa application)
3. Jan 22: Admitted to USA
2011
1. May 12 Departed USA (No stamp) and May 14 Arrived at my home country
2. Jul 10 Departed my home country & Jul 11 admitted to USA again (both stamped)
2016
1. Dec 20, Departed USA
2. Dec 22 arrived to my home country and since living here

Here is what I am thinking. Please correct me if I am wrong.
1. Use same PCC from 2006 to cover my stay prior of US departure in 2007.
2. FBI PCC to cover dates from Jan 22, 2007 - Dec 20, 2016
3. New PCC from my home country to cover dates on-wards of Dec 22, 2016 (Is it Ok to have 1 day gap between PCC 2 and 3 as I was on transit during that period)
Anyone please. @abhishek_89 whats your take on this.

Hi Everyone..

I have been following the ROH thread for a while now. Currently sitting at 435 with profile created on 19th Oct 2017, looking for all options to increase my score after seeing the current trend of draw.

Can anyone please tell me if I can give CELPIP exam as a second language? I have already given my IELTS. So will another english exam be valid? Or is it necessary it has to be a different language altogether?

Thanks in advance..

Its an English test. You can take either IELTS or CELPIP for English. CELPIP is offered only in Canada, USA, and UAE so you have to be in those countries to take it.
Thank you! I'm from The Philippines and profile created last 0ct 2017 with 430 crs points. I'm not really sure if it'll go down to my number. Maybe need to look into taking ielts again.
