Hi all,

A bit off topic but today OINP program update pages suggested that they will be issuing NOI ..
I have following questions if some one can share some thoughts.

1) How do we know we received NOI ? Will they send an email/messge on IRCC account ?

You will receive an email on your registered mail id stating that "you have received new message in your account". you can check all the messages in "status and messages" tab . You will receive your NOI there.

2) I created my EE Profile in Oct 2017 , they have not issued any new NOI in between Oct 2017 and Jan 2018, OINP website suggests to create new profile , however its somewhat unclear how "new" your profile should be . Can any one please comment if 3-4 month old profile is not good enough.
as OINP looks at the score as well NOC code there is no guarantee that everyone with above 400 with get NOI but to miss NOI because of the profile creation date would be really bad .

No, while applying if you had opted either "ontario" or "all provinces" , you have more than or equal to 400 and you have met minimum criteria, you are deemed to receive NOI. Instead of recreating a profile now, just wait for a day or two and check if you had received NOI. If you haven't still, recreate a profile.

Hi does oinp nominates someone if he has a non- Canadian degree but not yet assessed by a ECA body? My point is 438

Hi, I believe the CRS score you noted above is calculated through CRS calculator tool and you haven't created your profile yet.
Because, while filling EE application, you should have ECA readied for non-Canadian degree.

So, yes. Irrespective of PNP or Direct-ITA route, you should have ECA for non-canadian based degree certificate.

How to delete the profile? Is withdrawing the application means deletion? The profile I withdraw has UCI number on it but my current profile which is on pool does not have it. Could someone clarify this, please ? Thanks.

Yes deletion and withdrawal is synonymous with respective to EE application.

It depends on when CIC would either increase the number of ITAs issued per draw OR have 1 week gap draws. Unless one of these happen, it is very unlikely the CRS cut off would go down till 419. OINP is always an option for those with CRS 400 and above.

Not in next but after that you have good chance, may be 7th feb.

24th Jan: 440/441
7th Feb: 438

Has anyone received NOI after yesterdays announcement from Ontario?

For those who don't know how NOI is received >> This is basically a message which comes in you EE profile. Something similar to what we get when you create your profile and you receive message in EE profile informing you that "Congratulations! You have been accepted in the Express Entry pool of candidates"

If one creates a new profile, does the person need to also cancel the prevoius job bank account and re-create another one?
Is it advisable for someone around CRS 424 to recreate a new account?

Job bank profile is not mandatory now. If you want to link then there is an option in job bank account where you can link a new EE profile to existing job-bank-account.

As experts say >> We cannot expect high fall in CRS until we have any one of below points happening:

• Back to back draws... (CIC has already surprised by not conducting 3 draws in Jan month...from last 2 years there were 3 draws in Jan)
  
  
• Increased size of draw... If they invite bunch of 3500-4000 then you can expect CRS to fall.

Not needed, Canada is not bothered about your debts. They only need that you should have enough funds so that they alllow you to enter and sustain yourself without being a burden on the economy.

This is false. And also kind of self-contradictory: How can you prove to be self sufficient if you have debts to pay?

Letter(s) must:

• be printed on the financial institution’s letterhead
• include their contact information (address, telephone number and email address)
• include your name
• list outstanding debts such as credit card debts and loans
• include, for each current bank and investment account:
  • account numbers
  • the date each account was opened
  • the current balance of each account
  • the average balance for the past six months

Has anyone gotten a NOI? Seems the streams are reopened again just now. I recreated my profile on the 21st of December, I hope i get my NOI now. Nervous wait...

my profile was created on 7th of December with 434 crs . Will I get an NOI or do I need to create a fresh one
