You could Learn french and get an extra boost with the TEF. I did it in the beginning of this year and got a boost of 9 CRS points.
I got from 0 to CLB7 in 3 of the 4 categpries, in a period of only 4 months. The Speaking category I only got to CLB4, because I didn't have anyone to practice with. It is truth that, because I speak english and spanish, french was easier than it may be for people not coming from a romance tonge.
But if you take, say, 6 to 8 months, really practicing one to three hours everyday, you could get to a CLB7 in all 4 skills.

Wow, great job on the French, @ivancabrer. What did you use for learning French? I have been doing duolingo for a couple months but with time only for very sporadic study.

Dear All Members ,
Just a quick question. In order to provide experience in my field(NOC1111) , am i required to show this experience ONLY post qualification or it can be Pre qualification as well ??
Should it be on the basis of post completion of degree for which i received ECA OR my experience can be considered on the basis of relevant diploma related to my field but please note that diploma was not equal to any Canadian diploma??
What would be the scenario??
Please guide me with your great experiences .
Thank you all..

I hope we are not being trolled here. I owe you a pint if that's true. :)

However, all of us would appreciate if you can share what you supposedly know. :)

I think he's trolling. @darealness if you aren't, I think you could boost your credibility significantly if you share more details on what you know

April 5, 12, May 4.. Allll Im going to say..

It seems you really want to keep us guessing. Is it some sort of pattern you're hinting us to?

April 5, 12 may imply August 2 and 9th. You mean to say, next draw will be on 31st August?:eek:

Or is it the number of invitations or CRS?? Please reveal it.

Thank you.
I started with duolingo and finished it within 3 weeks, then I used the book Edito B2 (which is the one they use in the "Alliance Française"), along with watching tv shows in french and with french captions. I used google translate everytime I read or listened a new word and wrote it down in a notepad, and every new movie or tv show, the new words were less and less.
I still have much to improve in my conversation, but as soon as I get to Canada I'll look for an inmersion school to really be able to communicate when I plan a travel to visit Quebec. :)
