Maybe that guy is one of those with high CRS score and smooth PR processing, so the permanent residence came quickly and easily to him and he is too impatient in the job market because he thinks the job should be handed over to him quickly. He hasn't had to practice the patience and persistence that we old timers have.
Thanks for advice @trumprefugee, I don't have anything against starting from the scratch, as long as in the long run it will pay off.

Regarding article, my thought was the same, thinking that this is someone who got PR too easily, and then CIC thinks that younger people will more easily integrate in Canadain society... What I've encountered is that younger people are impatient... More than me! ;)

The Yukon party features a bout, bare fists fight. The event was supposed to be an exclusive one, but since DSharma123 isn't here any more, do you fancy filling in for him? Open knuckles fist fight between @harman_778 vs @raj2017.
Dsharma123 is a legend...can anyone replace him ever ???????.....as for a open knuckle fist fight...shldnt it be a fight amongst equals

Dude scathing attack... i was really surprised bc ppl say they dont award this level to anybody in first attempt and you said that was ur first (u have misinterpreted me)... And coming to your prediction in your comment you urself has written any feedback or comment is welcome(dont remember exact words) so i did, that wasnt personal and i said it, it was u who has started commenting on my spelling errors (and i dint invited anyone for spell correction as you invited ppl for comment) i havent commented on any of urs, the way you have demonstrated your prediction i have demonstrated mine by disagreeing with you in witty manner but wasnt disrespectful to you (if you cant handle ppl opinion on ur opinion den dont ask for one and ppl would leave you alone). when you have started it on my error and using word "aint here to please you" that was an attack and invitation for counter one, even in this one u wrote "i need help" again an invitation to counter you and here it comes i dont need help may be you need one and sorry my blessing needs to be earned,,,
Get well soon buddy...u hv amnesia...go back & read what u wrote 1st & then argue

Exactly. One more thing I would add;
We have spent whole our life so far in our home country, and so we have gained position and respect. Then how one can expect same respect from day 1. We need to give and invest some time in our dreamland(Canada).
That is an important point. In Canada and the US, networking is the most effective way to find a new job. You have a much better chance if someone in your network referred you to a job that might not even be posted on the major job boards. We have had the time to build our networks in our home countries but are starting from scratch in Canada, so it will take some time.

Oh yes, yes, yes, so many younger people are so impatient! Especially in the west, where there is a culture of instant gratification, especially among the younger millennials.

I apologize lady :) and for this you have all you can drink, drinks on me ;) at the Yukon party! You have 4 kids! I applaud to you, brave woman! :) And I said the same regarding kids in few forums back and I have the SAME opinion, Canadian population is getting older and we bring future tax payers immediately! For this soley we sould be awarded with 50 points, the same like getting a job offer, if not with more points since this is worth more than 3 job offers!
Big like to that. I have 3 not 4 children. I guess my statement was a bit twisted. I hope IRCC wakes up to this fact on time.

Guys, can't put a link, don't know why but here's copied article, a bit discouraging, what do you think? Quora site if anyone's interesting for further research. Name of the article: What are the pros and cons of immigration in Canada" written by Elssa Neri

Hello!

As you stated that you are “ looking for uncensored deadly honest opinions regardless is the offend or discriminate”, I will give you my deadly honest experience:

If you come to Canada, you will be seen as dumb, underqualified and you will have to humiliate yourself and beg on your knees to many arrogant locals to give you even an unpaid internship, even if you are actually smarter and more qualified than them. “Canadian experience” is seen as the best quality one might have and without it - you`re nobody, even if you have a Master`s degree from Europe (which is a lot harder to get than the Canadian one, by the way) and 10 years of professional experience with amazing references.

I was told that you can immigrate to Canada only to mop up floors but I didn`t believe it until I felt it on my own skin. No one will be willing to give you a chance. It`s my experience, it`s my friends experience, basically - I`ve heard very few happy stories where everything turned out well.

If you`re a highly qualified European specialist, I strongly advise to stay in Europe - you will be fare more appreciated there and your education and experience will be seen as valuable on the contrary to Canada where they don`t give a damn about you whatsoever.

That`s my deadly honest experience unfortunately. I don`t see any pros at this point. Been here for a few months and I`m basically being ignored by whomever I turn to or even worse - I get a reply with a meaning “go f**k yourself, you are not welcome here, you sh***y immigrant”. The savings are starting to dry up and I still haven`t moved forward not least a bit. The same with a few of my friends who have moved here around the same time I did.

A few of my friends, very highly qualified professionals from Europe, who had immigrated a while ago - some of them work in shops or restaurants, a couple of them just moved back to Europe and currently live a great life.

Conclusion - Canada thinks they`re the best country in the world and everyone else are not worth anything. My advice - if you are a great professional, don`t go humiliate yourself, you`ll have a far better life in Europe.

All the best!
Thank you very much for sharing this article dear @andieangel. We know there will be a challenge and I tell you what, wherever you live, even in your country life is the biggest challenge you may ever face. The author of this article might think that life in Canada is heaven or there could be an immediate offer with $5000-$6000. You know what, we must build that kind of life with our try and hard working skills.
With all due respect to the person, I do agree with you all on the point that this person got his/her ITA and PR too easily. Another thing is that this person has never got an info or learnt anything about Canada at all in my opinion. Wherever you go, you have to be well informed, do some research, you must do everything step by step, do not try to jump over a big wall, otherwise you will be broken.

To me, I will do whatever I have to do to be able to integrate in the Canadian society as a successful person, it may take a year, 2 or even 3, but I will never give up. I'm doing all these for my family and most importantly for the future of my kid (there will more to come in Canada hopefully :p;)).

I tell you my Canadian journey, I was in Quebec city, Montreal city and Toronto as well long time ago. I did work there (but that work was under type C job according to NOC and I didn't know about points for only type 0, A and B jobs), so before getting any qualified job according to your profile, you begin with small things like I did. Finding a small job is a piece of cake in Canada, I did find my first job for 3 days only. But I do understand that well qualified job may take some time, and be ready to face some local candidates too.
I have a lot of friends in Canada, mostly students and immigrants. All of them are very happy to live in Canada and some of them became Canadian citizen. Here is story to tell you my friends: one of my friends did not speak English or French, but she tried so hard to learn and got just beginner level (if I take IELTS system that could be Band 4.0) and she got the job even she can't understand everything, some time later she learnt her job very well, speaks French very good, understands English and now she is one of the supervisors of that Company. She did one thing in her life: she NEVER GAVE UP! Now she is very happy and recently got a beautiful house with 5 bedrooms in Montreal (for $180.000).
To sum up, everything depend on our knowledge, willing, patience, accepting a big challenge, life and work experience and so on... That's why, do not pay attention to the people who made everything impossible for themselves. There is only one person to be blamed and that's her or him!

Did you finish the reading of my long comment, a big BRAVO to you and now you may smile :p:D;)

I did finish reading your post, it's always a pleasure to read interesting and important posts! :) Not like what @shaun75 writes! :p Ok, I will stop now! ;) I'm jealous of his 1:5 ratio for likes or did I miscalculated that also! :D

You are right about everything you said, I agree completely, specially with the part that we are doing this for our kids.

My husband and I have a lot of experience in our field of work and we managed to get to managerial positions with hard work in our corrupted country where nepotism is a must. And we think to ourselves, with this kind of dedication and hard work where is the limit in organized and rule applying country like Canada, that's why we are going, dreams do come true! Nothing worthwhile comes easy!

I am here in Canada on a visit visa, just because I wanted a head start on things. I am stuck on 428. This is giving me an opportunity to learn and understand the Canadian ways of doing business. Though I headed operations for one of the largest airline in one of the busiest airports in the world, I work part time here as a restaurant delivery boy. But this is my choice, since it pays some of the bills and at the same time gives me an opportunity to meet people and understand how difficult and easy it is.

It is definitely not easy and no one says anywhere it will be. It's a small population and they have their economic and political challenges. However what they offer in terms of quality of life is far better from where I come and hence my choice.

I did come across this clip on YouTube and I find it very true and close to reality. If you have patience, watching it may prepare you in a way for Canada job market.

Good luck everyone.... The light is just around the corner.

As indicated in my previous post about changes to processing times it has proved correct. About 80% or more applications from July AOR will Pass their Medicals by Monday. This means processing time have reduced by almost half for both FSW and PNP.

This will bring positive impact to those applicants waiting at 420's or below. Many PN are already distributed making room for below 600 candidates.

If everything goes well the next round (if on 23rd August) may see a decline in CRS score to 427 +/- 2.
