Oh yes, it was CLB7 (not 9) for FSW (since I thought you were under that stream). Since you are under CEC, I cannot really guide you. We would also have to review your entire profile to have a better idea of your issue. You may want to check on threads related to CEC.

Fixed my problem

Mistakes I did and later corrected were as follows.
1) Has XXX applied to citizenship and immigration Canada before?
-I changed my answer from yes to No.

2) I wrote my current Canadian work experience in occupation and intended work in Canada but forgot to re-write the same in work historye? Make sure you re-write Canadian work experience in work history also.

To put it in other words ? Is it a problem if I chose a NOC code and IRCC sees it as another ?

I'm trying to understand some abbreviations that are widely used across the forum. Could someone tell me what the following abbreviations mean?

Hi,

Need help!

When I created my profile on the portal, I was not working, basically I was on a break for two months. And now I have joined another organisation. Do I have to update that in my profile? I had worked for more than four years in the previous job so I do meet the criteria of more than 3 years. Please advice.

BGIP - Background Check In Progress

Usually the flow is like below.

ITA --> AOR (Accept ITA and provide all documents with RPRF upfront) --> Medical Pass --> BGIP --> RPRF request if not done early --> PPR --> COPR --> Landing (before Medical expiry date which is usually 1 year from the date taken)

Entire process from AOR to PPR might take 3 months to 1 year depending on each case. Sometimes it might take more than 1 year, only in worst case scenario.

Why did u changed ur 1st answer from yes to no?

Why do you think so? Usually around 100 people per day enter into the pool and till today around 1500 would enter and I think crs could be around 429 then in 2 weeks 415 and then in August around 405. It is possible even with 2 draws per month.

Although I believe the reason why there wasn't a draw last week is because CIC is doing half year report, looking at number of issued PRs, people landing and their overall quota. i think they are preparing something big and everyone will be surprised with the outcome. There will be a draw with time stamp for the first time and I think a lot more ITAs then anyone expecting!

Please note that this is only my personal opinion backed up with a lot of hope! ;)

The per day average should be considered for each CRS range mentioned by CIC and not for the overall pool to have a clear picture.

If we can deduce the per day average at each range, like CRS 601 and above, CRS 451-600, CRS 441-450, etc. then we can deduce the approximate intake to the express entry pool of those with a particular CRS and above. The averages I have deduced from the CIC data say 100+ is the average intake into the pool per day of candidates with CRS 451 and above itself which means around 1400 candidates would be available in the pool with CRS 451 and above if the draw happens with a 2 week gap.

This is the reason why the cut off moved only from 415 to 413 in about 42 days from Apr 19 to May 31 even though the draws occurred bi-weekly.

On the other hand, the cut off moved from 431 to 415 in about 14 days from Apr 5 to Apr 19 when the draws occurred weekly.

Consecutive weekly draws is the key to the cut offs reaching low scores.

The other way in which the CRS cut off can drastically reduce is if CIC issues more number of ITAs (the counts doubled and tripled in 2017 - which was the major reason for the cut offs to come below 450).

Did you also create an EE profile besides the SINP?
Yes, I already have nomination from SINP but not under SINP EE. So when I was creating EE profilr, I had to put NO. Because pnp takes longer so i was trying for ITA. hope to get soon.

My primary concern is that I do not want to intimate my current employer at this stage. Both my jobs have been under the same NOC code. Can I skip providing the job details about my current job and just claim points for the last one?
I just filled out my EE profile. The system lets you enter in all your work experience, no matter how old (mine dates back to 1998 and spans 4 NOC codes, and I entered it all). So just enter in all of your work experience and you should be fine.

Hi Folks!

I need some help regarding claiming points for work experience. I have worked from July 2012 to May 2014(22 months) under job code 4163 as a market researcher/consultant. Post that I went for my masters from June 2014 to Feb 2016. i started working again in June 2016 and my current job duties match with both NOC 4163 and 1123. I do not want to screw up my application due to the overlap by claiming points for 3 years work ex.
Is it okay if I just claim points for my earlier work ex under NOC 4163 for 1 year work ex? I will manage somewhere between 444 and 456 depending on my IELTS result (due on 21st June)

Further, I do not wish to inform my current employer about the process. I can download an employment letter from our internal portal but will not list my job responsibilities. I guess it is required to show the current employment.
can someone please help?

If I had declined ITA before, what should I put under " Immigration history and citizenships" now for the question - HAVE YOU APPLIED FOR EXPRESS ENTRY BEFORE".
Should I put Yes or No ?
Thanks for help.

No, since you didn't apply.
