I have got the ITA in last draw (28th june) , as OINP nomination gave me 600 points. Unfortunately I had to decline ITA, as FBI PCC is taking more time now a days. After declining, I came to know that there are a few agencies in India help get FBI PCC faster with some lump amount. I know that is not ideal way, but I am considering taking that route to put myself in fast track. Have not decided yet.BTW, FBI received my package on 27th June.

Oh! So sorry to hear about your troubles :( Hope things work out for you.

Just a word of caution: Do proper research about these agencies you're thinking about contacting.

All the best!

Just making sure if you are in EE Pool with minimum score OINP needs that's all what's required. You don't have the option to apply for OINP rather they would choose profiles from the pool based on whatever criteria they have

Provided you checked that box where it said you are okay to share the information submitted in EE with Ontario Province

Please correct me if i am wrong.

If it makes you feel any better, there are a lot of people on this forum who are the same age as you or older.

So don't lose heart.

While you seem to have maxed out your IELTS, and getting a Masters or learning French may take months if not years, there are other ways of improving your score.

Have you considered the Ontario Immigrant Nomination Program?

Agreed - don't lose heart. I'm older at 42 and I'm going. No CIC or DSharmaXXXXX is gonna stop me. Just a matter of time.

Why by 12? He has already CLB9 in writing so he'll get 32 (for CLB10) instead of 29. So the score will go up by 3 only. The 3 other abilities are maxed out.
thank you for bringing it to my attention..
I was under the impression that CLB9 / CLB10 would be considered as a whole...it checks out like you said...

This thread explains it in great detail:

Good luck.

Just been on the Ontario link kindly posted by someone and my husband is NOC 2241 which is in demand. However, it is me that is the principal applicant (I am an accountant and not on the in demand list).
Our CRS is 428.
Does OINP do the search of the pool just based on the principal applicant as we have not received a NOI (express entry profile created on 14th June)?Unfortunately my husband does not have a degree and cannot class himself as an engineer in Canada as a result despite 30 years work experience in engineering.
Hi!
No need to worry about OINP as you will get ITA in a draw or two. Just wait!!!

My score is 413. I've just had all my college documents sent to WES for the ECA. According to the immigration consultant i spoke with this morning, WES can take 6-8 weeks to get back to me. Which means I'll be able to put together my full profile in the next two months. I've done everything else, ordered FBI background check/taken the English exam, all of that. I'm just waiting on the educational credential assessment.
So, enough rambling, onto my question.
Do you guys think in 6-8 weeks the minimum CRS will be back down to the level it was before the latest round?
I don't know where your immigration consultant gets information from, but it should take up to 20 business days after receiving all documentation. Mine was ready in 15 business days. I think that you should probably get an ITA within the next 2 months once you get the results :)

Hey

I am from India. I can help you out. Let me know the agency name. I can try and figure out if they are genuine and may be get more knowledge for you.

Not sure if that would be helpful but still no harm in trying :)

I'm on the same boat of PCC wait... but I was under the impression IRCC would not accept anything that would not come from FBI directly. Be careful with fake promises!

Do you guys think there will be a draw tomorrow?

You don't have an express entry profile yet?

Ontario has only recently started targeting specific professionals with less than 400 CRS points. At the same time they continue to send NOIs to profiles with more than 400 points.

My profession isn't in demand anywhere in the world but I got NOI from Ontario on May 12, a few days after recreating my profile.

Good luck.

I do! Created the EE profile back in April. My score is 392. Since OINP isn't giving NOI to anyone below 400 I guess my chances are slim for OINP as my NOC doesn't fall under ICT jobs. That's why I was asking how to improve my score further so I can cross the 400 threshold and get NOI from Ontario or a direct ITA once the score comes down.

Ah! I understand now! Sorry you had to explain it to me from scratch :)

Who knows what Ontario has in mind going forward? With any luck, your NOC would interest Ontario in the near future.

All the best.

I would suggest you to take the ielts and get the maximum points
