is OINP still issuing NOI ? or Closed ?
thank you for the confidence :D:p....(as a direct reply to me, I take it as being in charge of OINP ;))
----
there's no news that they have stopped....before last week (since they announced *preferential treatment to select professions) they used to issue every Friday and we used to have one or other person reporting it here with a query...
since the announcement*,there's no 'friday' being the NOI day...
---
there's no reason to believe that they have stopped issuing...however not seeing any member here talkin about an NOI may be a symptom that Ontario may have decided to stop blanket issue NOIs to fresh 400+ profiles...they may be going 'pick and choose'...and they have issued even to those as low as 330...may be in coming weeks they will issue to other chosen professions irrespective of which side of '400' they lie..
---
In short : there is no statement saying they have stopped...their statement even says "will continue to issue to profiles fulfilling critera (400+,recently created profiles)"
symptoms suggest : they may be slowing down blanket NOIs to all recent 400+ CRS profiles

Sorry to disappoint anyone, but, I do not think it is even possible to get below 380 or even 390. In fact, the bench mark in my opinion is 410.
Why?
Any student in Canada graduating from university with the 3 yrs program + 1 year work exp + 6666 in IELTS= 394
Any student in Canada graduating from college/u with a 1-2 yrs program + 1 year work exp + 6666 = 360-390
I mean it is just too easy for local students to get 360-400, and given the fact that there are way too many students graduate each year (or each term). So, CIC understands it just as well, that is why they are only looking for the top of the class and specifically those with high academic qualification or more years of experience or higher language. All in all, they won't invite average scorers because it makes EE system pointless, a good example is that they added relative thing and french speaking thing to make sure the score won't go down (IT WAS 413,lowest as it can get).
This is the brutal truth.
Hi,

Before the 19th of November 2016, I was stuck on 380, failing to get the IELTS scores I need and really really depressed. I felt like the system was unfair as it favoured those with job offers (600 points) and was tired of unsuccessfully throwing around my CV. However, things changed over night and I woke up close to the top of the pool.

No one believed scores would ever fall below 450, and even 450 was a stretch. No one believed that so many people could get an ITA without a job offer, a Canadian degree, or PNP. LOL:rolleyes:

Anyway, what I have learn from my experience is that nothing is impossible. Cutoff may go below 400, forcing provinces to look for people in the 350-380 region. It may take some time but it is definitely not impossible.

My advice to anyone praying for an ITA is keep trying to improve your score and good fortune will meet you half way.

All the best

Is there a way to find out , how many people are there in express entry pool as of now and how many are being added everyday? Can anyone advise ??
Thanks

Guys I have a concern regarding the settlement funds, please help... I have the LICO they require, but in cash. Since they require bank statements for at least 6 months, is it valid If I deposit those money today in my work bank account which was created in 2014?

And furthermore... should I also translate the bank statements in English? :/

guys , what are the predictions for CRS cutt-off if draw will happen tomorrow ... last month draw was very unpredictable because CIC only conducted one that was also not to maximum 3800, they reduced the size in comparison to previous draws.. if CIC will make draw tomorrow there is hope more draw in the remaining month if they didn't then I think there limit will be only one draw or 2 draw in the alternative months.

please share your thoughts and views

Hi,

They do not require your bank statement. They want a bank letter stating your current balance and average balance for the last 6 months. If there is a significant difference between the two, like you will have, you will need to clearly explain (with evidence) the source of your funds. What they want to know is that these are your funds as opposed to borrowed funds.
