I've noticed that WES is usually very silent on weekends. Hopefully you'll receive your confirmation today.

I'm hoping for the same. @MarynaN We should probably be receiving our mails today.

Thanks for providing the right user name ;) I made the correction in my last post :) It's not good to mock the wrong person now, is it?! ;)

Its not good, But its fun :)

Ha ha ha. I meant that I had tagged the wrong Sharma in my post ;) After reading your post, I made the correction in the username. Otherwise some other poor soul would be wondering why I was trolling him ;)

Lol :) I meant we can mock the other sharma too sometimes for fun ;) Mocking @dharma123 would be as satisfying as praying for an entire day ;)

Hello Seniors!
Need some advice here related to PCC. Will appreciate your kind help.

1) I got married a couple months ago and since then relocated to a different state, say from A to B. Now in my passport, the spouse name field is blank and it shows my old address as A. So how should I approach this now? Do I have to add spouse name, update the address to B, issue a new passport and then got the PCC from new state. It'll take approx 20-25 days to get a new passport in India. Or what else can I do to speed up the process.

2) This is regarding my husband's PCC. He visited xiamen, china on a business visa and stayed for approx 8 months. We tried contacting some of his friends in china regarding this and they said we have to visit china to get one as they need fingerprints for the same. We tried contacting some online services that can get us PCC, one of them informed that since it is xiamen and he was on business visa, the chances of getting pcc is less than 30%. What are the chances that PCC could be waived off if we provide all these emails showing that we tried our best but couldnt get one and attach a LOE.

Please assist as its kind of tricky.
Thanks in advance.

I can answer for 1)

You need to have passport copies of both you and your spouse along with some utility bills which have your current address on it. They will come to your address for verification with in 2 weeks and your PCC will be given. Create an account here http://www.passportindia.gov.in and apply for PCC. No need of applying for new passport.
