In order to receive a Notification of Interest, you must have a valid profile in the Express Entry Pool, as well as meet the eligibility criteria under one of Ontario’s Express Entry Streams, either the Human Capital Priorities Stream, the Skilled Trades Stream, or the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream.
If you have any questions related to your Express Entry profile, please contact Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s (IRCC) or visit
their website.
Please note that applicants who meet Ontario’s stream criteria may not necessarily receive a Notification of Interest. Ontario cannot guarantee that applicants will receive any particular result or benefit as a result of meeting its criteria.
Due to the large number of applicants who qualify, Ontario may not select your Express Entry profile if it was created long ago. Prospective applicants are encouraged to create a new profile in the Express Entry system to make it easier for Ontario to identify their profile during its search of the federal government’s Express Entry pool. Please note that if you create a new Express Entry profile, you must delete your old profile.
To ensure processing efficiency and quality customer service, the OINP is monitoring the volume of applications to the HCP Stream and issuing NOIs periodically throughout the year until Ontario's 2017 federal nomination allocation is fulfilled.
