There you go, already giving up PEI dream heheh. kidding :) Congratulationss man! Ontario isnt so bad either :)
When did I ever state that Ontario isn't good. It is the best province, as it conducts the Draws!! My choosing the PEI is for personal reasons alone. I somewhat like to stay away from the crowd, city lights, etc.

Question re: NOC. Do you have to perform all of the duties in the lead statement? I see it's on the CIC website but does anyone have any insight into if all are required/necessary?

Here:
Minimum requirements
Skilled work experience
Your work experience must be:
  • in the same type of job as your primary NOC
  • within the last 10 years
  • paid work (volunteer work, unpaid internships don’t count)
  • at skill type 0, or skill levels A or B of the 2011 National Occupational Classification (NOC)
  • at least 1 year (1,560 hours total / 30 hours per week), continuous:
    • full-time at 1 job: 30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
    • equal amount in part-time: 15 hours/week for 24 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
    • full-time at more than 1 job: 30 hours/week for 12 months at more than 1 job = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
You must show that you did the duties set out in the lead statement of the occupational description in the NOC, including all the essential duties and most of the main duties listed.

If you cannot show that your work experience meets the description in the NOC, you are not eligible under this program.

Hello,

Can you please share the link where it states that work experience has to be continuous? Also, does anyone have the link for the "Gazette" where we can find all the official rules?

As expected, I received an NOI from Ontario for the second time, just a moment ago. I took the chance by recreating my profile, and they favoured me. I am glad, I have my escape route to Canada lest the CRS cut-off never falls.
Any idea what is the score cut-off for receiving a nomination interest letter or if there is any. Also, what are the specific criteria for receiving one.

Every province has a different criteria. For example, Ontario only sends invites to those at or over 400 CRS and who've created or recreated their profiles recently.

Some doctors are misinfromed and deny applicants upfront medical. One guy was rejected because doctor didnt know this and denied him of the medical. You must explain to him this is obligatory for you. You are category NON EDE WORKER. That should be on your e-medical sheet. You don need any number.
You need to bring him only your passport as I know. Give him this link.

Another week without Draw and a lot of suspense.. Have a wonderful weekend all.. catch up with you all on Monday

You see this my friends?

This mean what we all here are praying for a while, the score should continue to decrease in the long run. That is why OINP realized that it is no longer logic to ask for a 400 minimun CRS to obtain a nomination from them, when soon any 400 candidate could obtain a direct ITA.

Good luck to all, and let the Ray of Hope continue!
