Good ielts score.....did bad in the reading 6.5... all others were very good. Whats the trick? I ran out of time.. I am considering writing again in 3 weeks...

Basically I didn't read any of the texts. I always go straight to the questions, then I come back to the text to look ONLY for what the question is mentioning. Reading the texts beforehand wastes a lot of time and it's useless.

Try to spend less time on first 4 paragraphs because according to me you need atleast 20 - 25 minutes for 5th paragraph which has heading section which is hardest to do.

I strongly Agree. read questions first and underline main words. Then go to text.

Hey experts,

I have a quick question. I've heard that I need to have 6+ months left of expiry date in my passport when I land with the confirmation of PR. Is this true? I only have a few months left until my passport gets expired and I can't expand it anymore because of numerous reasons.

Any thoughts? thanks!

I know the US has this demand, but I don't think Canada does:

It is required...for primary applicant as well as whoever travels along ..
6months validity is required & 2 blank pages on passport...

Last time when we had a such a long time of gap between two draws, there were two back to back draws. So I'm expecting same on 6/21 and 6/28. Hit like if you think so...

Yes. They will need a back to back draw to catch up with the missing draw from last week
