How can you say there will be decrease? :)
We might need to consider this fact that there could be increase from 423 as well !!

It definitely won't go up if it's today. Not enough people entered the pool to make up for the people they took.

Mate, check the draw #55 and 57 ~ it increased and then decreased. So everything is possible with CIC.
The only requirement is of to have a draw this week and next week (back-to-back).

I am 99.9% sure that if they have a round today or tomorrow it will decrease. It's just a matter of how low it will go, my bet would be on 412 or less.

I, on the other hand, seriously doubt there will be any draw this week.
CIC will wait for 1 more week to get the pool crowded with worthy candidate having high CRS.
It all boils down to the number of draws left and number of quota left.
If both equals 3k candidate per draw then we might expect some cut off downgrade else it will be up from here..

Chances of it to go above 423 is if we don't have any draw today..and that is what I am basing it on.
On average, there are around 2k new applicant joining the pool on weekly basis having CRS 400+. If the draw happens after every 2 weeks, there is very slim hope that cut off will go 415 or below. You are optimistic - I agree and appreciate, I am just trying to be realistic here.
Last time there were friends who improved their IELTS score and new friends who came into the pool after completing theirs. This was the main reason for scores to go up. Now as everyone above 423 is cleared and its just less than a week since the draw happened, the scores have to come down drastically if it happens today

CIC is unpredictable , so everything is possible... Especially when they decide to invite just 3000+ invitations. Oh God bless everyone and good luck!

Does anyone else think that last week they moved it from the usual Wednesday to Thursday to be on May 4th as a Star Wars pun? or am I the only nerd who thinks that.

If Trudeau was the ministry of CIC I wouldn't doubt it, he's a major Star Wars fan. He even dressed with Star Wars socks on May 4th :).
But you never know, maybe the actual ministry of inmigration is a fan as well .

its very quite in here today, its the first Wednesday i see this thread drops to a position lower than the first 3 threads.
maybe the ray of hope is fading due to the many negative replies in the last week !!
This is due to the unpredictable nature of CIC, The ray of hope thread isn't as it used to be. My advice is do all you can to improve your score rather than just expecting the scores to drop.

I really do hope the scores actually drop so that those with lower scores can also join the party

yeah! its extremely quiet! the last ray of hope thread had a whooping 141 pages! Its wednesday and barely 32 pages here! interesting!

Based on the available data of CRS score distribution of candidates in the Express Entry pool, I have come up with the prediction for the 62nd draw.

If it happens today (May 10) - CRS 412 with 3842 ITA's.
If it happens tomorrow (May 11) - CRS 413 with 3653 ITA's.
If it happens on Friday (May 12) - CRS 413 with 3956 ITA's.

The variance in the above calculation is +/- 1 CRS.

Please tell me how can I increase my score if I have clb 9, bachelors degree and 10 years experience and also my husband, but I am 33, therefore, my crs decreased dramatically comparing to someone who is 29.
