Hi Guys

I have 454 CRS points and have also received the PNP Ontario notification. I am in a dilemma at the moment whether to accept the Ontario PNP, since I already have sufficient points to get through the next round (I hope!).

The question is apart from the 600 odd points that this PNP will add to my score does it give me any other benefit (in terms of finding a job in Ontario)? By declining this invite do I stand to lose anything?

Thanks!!

Well.. when ITA is sure why add one more step to get PNP and delay your PR.. WRT to provincial nomination, you only get 600 points...finding job is something you have to take it on your own..

No difference at all.
But moving out of Nominated Province is a controversial topic. You better apply with direct ITA.

Its just a suggestion. Read more to make right choice.
All the best.

i would suggest go through Express Entry as you have sufficient points and process time is less compared to PNP.

Thanks everyone! Even I am inclined to decline the PNP and take the ITA route. Want to keep things simple. ;D

Hi,

yes your profile will be ineligible incase you receive an ITA during this period, once you have your results you should update your profile at the earliest.

Its so quite here. No one expecting a draw this week?

nice to hope at ray of hope.

I have a question. If someone has taken up IELTS twice then is he at liberty to use scores from any test or he has to use the latest one only. Kindly help.

Dear Seniors,
Greetings

I am going to create my EE profile on Wednesday, finally after a long wait. I am bit confused in relation to couple of things. If someone can clear my confusion, i would be so thankful.

In relation to total number of academic years, I have (10 years schooling + 2 years high school + 3 years of Bachelor + MSc 1.5 years + MBA 1.5 years) It did take me 2 years to complete my MSc and MBA each, so it was 4 years all though it was supposed to be 3 years for both masters). I have ECA done for my Bachelor's Degree (ECA equivalent - Canadian Bachelor's 3 years and MSc - Canadian Master's Equivalent). However i do not have ECA done for MBA as it wouldn't make any difference in points, plus i was doing my thesis of MBA while applying for ECA for MSc and Bachelors. To cut the story short, what would be my academic years? Will it be 18 years or 19 years?

Also i applied for PR back in 2014, but it was rejected the first time because of incompleteness. I gathered the documents and re-applied but it was returned as the quota was full. My money was returned, it didn't go for processing but initial assessment only. Hence i didn't receive UCI number. What should i answer for whether if i applied for PR previously or not? I am confused. Any advice or suggestions would be highly valuable. Thank you.
