Guys if you can help with below queries

1. Name on my CIC profile includes surname however the WES has issued me the results without Surname as my education certificates does not have surname in them. I am hoping this would lead to an issue during application submission to CIC, if yes what is the best solution to address this?

2. My wife has an education uptill Grade 12 from India, what do i need to do to get the score in my profile against her education

I think your wife needs an ECA.

For your surname, do you have any proof that you are the same person who earned the degrees? If so, WES might consider reissuing if you do. I needed to include my marriage license to prove I was the same person with degrees having different surnames.

Hi Guys , my CRS score is 413, applied since October 2016, but I haven't received nothing yet.
So yesterday I re created a new profile accordingly to what I read on Ontario Immigration page. But my new profile showed "Pending Additional Criteria", even though I re registered at job bank.
So today I withdrew that profile and created a new one today, but my status still says "Pending Additional Criteria". Wonder what is happening. ???

My expectations for next draws will be like this : (I hope so)
3rd draw - April 3800 414
1st draw - May 3850 404
2nd draw - May 3800 397, so i think we are going to see this for the first time, the CRS score below 400 in May 2017
1st draw - June 3900 394
2nd draw - June 3650 390

My previous expectation for the last draw 8) 100% correct

.... and waiting for the end of year report 2016 for an in-depth information

Sure do hope your prediction comes true and scores go much lower. Good luck to all. This drop in score sure surprised many.

Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum and before I give my predictions I will like to wish everyone a very best of luck. I hope everyone in this forum get their ITA soon.

CIC is significantly changing their point based system and the decline in scores is simply a result of such steps. CIC wants to make its process more transparent, fair, and swift, and therefore, has changed its rules to accommodate Job vs Education gap. This was deemed important to truly reflect the HIGHLY SKILLED WORKERS which in the previous system was more focused on Jobs rather than other Factors such as Education.

The second important thing is that CIC now aims to merge different schemes under Express Entry and targets to issue 100,000 ITA's by the end of this year. The first quarter of 2017 have issued more ITA's than the full year of 2015. In July the new scheme will be issued which includes proposal to Determine Score for Each NOC, that if approved will mean scores for common professions such as Accountants, Finance, Some Engineering and Medical NOC will be lower than those categorised as Rare profession.

All above developments are under discussion and will be enacted on the discreation of CIC. However, it is confirm that major positive changes are on the way which will have impact on the EE system. Finally, 2017 will have highest rounds than prior years (30 or more rounds) with record number of ITA's issued through EE.

Taking the new policy in account I have made the following predictions for the next 2 draws:

60th Draw on 26th April - Score 417
61th Draw on 3rd May - Score 410

+/- 2 depending on the additional applications submitted during this period. There may be an Easter surprise from CIC on 19th April, in that case Score is predicted to be 415.

I hope everyone will benefit from the new changes in a positive way. GOOD LUCK! :)

Thank you Bill
The information especially calculations presented here on this forum are truly encouraging n so motivating. I wish at some point cic decides to evaluate assigning points for education independent of job experience rather than job experience solely being in the field of education. I have been given to understand that the work experience must be in the field of education.

Hi guys!

I'm at 402 and received NOI from Ontario yesterday. Once i'm done with ECA for my spouse (which will take a month and a half atleast) , the crs will jump to 410. Is it recommended to wait for ITA around 410 in May/June or should I go ahead with OINP at 402 ?

Hi, if you could please tell me when you entered the ee pool. I have been in the pool since June 2016 through a consultant. To withdraw and re-enter the pool, they need additional fees. :'(

Wait for 24 hours, it will become active then. That is when you could possibly get Ontario's PNP as well.

It takes 5 minutes of your time to do that. You go ahead and do it yourself and let them know. Just be sure to capture screen shots of your current application, so you can use it to enter the info accurately when you create it.

I am a Newbie and have been silently going through the Ray of hope threads from a very long time. I must admit that these threads have really kept my hopes alive. Thanks to each one of you for spreading such positivity and keeping our hopes alive.

Looking at the Score distribution shared, here's my predictions:

If the 60th draw happens on 19th Apr - 417
If the 60th draw happens on 26th Apr - 419
If the 60th draw happens on 3rd May - 421

I hope my predictions are wrong and the score falls down even more than what I have predicted. ;D

Hi guys!

Please help me solve this big issue:(

I had 406 points before retaking IELTS but after retaking IELTS and getting CLB 9, I had high hopes of my score going up. I had birthday in March and lost 5 points. But still 400 points plus CLB9 should give a boost to the score. Isn't it?? My constant is unable to figure out the issue. :( I don't wanna miss the next draw plz helppppp!!!

If it is next week I see it being lower than 417 - probably sub 415.

There aren't enough people entering or currently there to eat up 3700ish worth of ITA's ;D

26th is a different matter entirely.
