Dude, that's for IEC visas. Nothing to do with express entry!

It took me this long as I was waiting for WES. My PCCs are dated November so I have time until May to submit them but I am traveling to India next month so that will negate my Indian PCC and I would need to redo the UK PCC. I wanted to submit eAPR before my trip. Medicals cost £300 per adult so that's £600 for my wife and I which I hope I dont have to redo.

And I am traveling to the US for a short trip in the end of April. If I don't submit my docs before that then I will have to get my Indian PCC and FBI PCC as well

This information is not for Express Entry - it is for International Experience Class
which is people who come to Canada on working holiday program or international co-op

True...but people are now speculating that the reasons are same for both.....I am convinced that both have no connection.

If u read the last few pages u will find people hinting that it applies to Express entry also, so was just clearing the air on that perception.

I think only the indian PPC would need to be re-applied for. This is what i found on the website -

If you need a police certificate from a country or territory and:

- are currently living there, or received the police certificate before leaving, the police certificate must be issued within six months before you apply.
- have lived there in the past, the police certificate must be issued after you last lived in that country or territory.

Well, same boat. Only difference is I've my medicals done last week as well. Now I am sort of nervous whether it was wise decision to go for medicals without ITA.
I am at 444 by the way....

Are we allowed to take medicals before the ITA? The clinic that i spoke to asked for the ITA letter.

The site says:

"Wait for instructions once you have submitted your application
We’ll send you instructions on how to get your medical exam done. You must go for your medical exam within 30 days of receiving these instructions."

You can do it if the clinic offers upfront medical

For EE, you have to tell the clinic that you want to do upfront medical and you can do it before ITA

Before or after ITA - it's called upfront medical & many clinics allow that provided you specify that at the beginning.

Thank you vickspat! Is there any difference in how the details are to be uploaded back to CIC once its time to submit the application?

Even I didnt get NoI. I think they cherry pick. I was really hoping to get started today and booked my medical next week and was planning to submit everything at the end of this month having everything ready. Now all my plans are out of the window.

You and me both, buddy.

While I can still do the upfront medical, it's no fun for anyone having to wait when there is so much on the line.

I truly hope we get an invite soon.
