For all of you who haven't received the ITAs yet, it can take up to 24 hours, so relax.

Secondly, if you opened your profile and did UPDATE AND submitted, then you will receive the email too, within 24hrs.

Those who did update or entered their profile but DID NOT submit it, please click the 'revert changes' button or else you will not recieve the email until you do so.

That's not the case. Even if you revert changes or no, ITA is applied to the last saved and transmitted changes. It happened with my buddy. He got ITA. he did not have to revert changes or anything. Don't change anything in your profile guys. Wait

I personally experienced it in the March 1st draw!

If you made changes and had transmitted it and the update was submitted, the draw considers that profile. If you made changes and transmitted but the status was 'update not submitted' then it will not take effect.

There is already one

Best of luck to everyone who received an ITA... Take your time and read, re-read and re-re-read every line of instructions on the CIC website related to document requirements... Wherever you see a chance of a question being raised related to a point in your application, please submit a POLITE LOE with as much supporting documentation as you can so as to preemptively clarify their doubts.. If you have more than one LOE please put a table of content with page numbers for the convenience of the case officer...

All these help in fast tracking your process...

I updated but did not submit. On march 1st, I waited ...And waited. Nothing. Went back to my profile and revert the changes and voila. Got the email in less than 5 seconds.

Now it may be a coincidence, but I don't think it was.
