Although I am not in for the current draw, but don't know why, I am unable to move away from thread or perform any work.

When u r in IELTS writing section the time seam to fly at he rate of light hours. But when you r waiting for the draw to happen the clock is moving at snail pace.

I am happy for all who will be called in today,s draw and best of luck who r in the Queue.

We have seen in some of the threads where people recommended recreating of profile when the stream was open. Most of them got a mail post that. But then nobody knows the actual criteria basis which they shortlist profiles.

Yes this was the case in 2015./16. but who knows now - they had a buggy system (surprise, surprise) that's why people recreated profiles.. and those who didnt know that didnt get nominated! Anyone knows what specific day OINP issues, cant find it anywhere?

Everyone who gets PT has 45 days to apply.. Lets say the PT's start applying in March/April (even this is too optimistic since we dont know when are the first PT's going to arrive and in what numbers). I'd also say it may affect draws earliest around May since online application is introduced to reduce processing time.. we'll have to see but I doubt they will start issuing points before May.

Agree. I feel they might have deliberated with the CIC guys and decided on the criteria and basis which they will draw profiles from the pool. But any idea on how it was done last year? Do we ever get know anything on the criteria ?

Apparently no criteria for issuing PT's except CRS 400+. There are no rules. Some people with 401 got it, and some who havent recreated profiles with 434 didn't.

They know how many people there is in the pool and exactly know how many they're going to pull from EE and how many OINP. This strategy of not lowering CRS points out there are probably enough people 400+ to satisfy the needs of both quotas (for now).

I think they will invite 400-420. Possibly.
