the CIC page is clear.
With the help os some Youtube videos and then the reading on the CIC page gave me a clear idea.

I did take some of the online evaluations. i found them to be too costly to go on with the application. i was better off without help.

Yea I thought it was bit ridiculous to pay someone a few thousand just to upload a few documents into our profiles. At the end of the day, we have to sit for the test, we have to facilitate between our schools to get an ECA etc. I wouldn't mind paying them for advice at the start but not a a few thousands to attend to my profile. Just my opinion though.. ::)

Ok guys
this is what the CIC login page says:

"This online service will be unavailable from 3:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. Eastern time, on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, in order to perform system maintenance." ::)

any clues that this could be for some update for the OINP on 21st ? :D

I believe so. It is probably their sneaky way to sift out who they want to invite next ;D

Just out of curiosity. Are any of you engaging in an Immigration Lawyer or agency to help with your EE applications? For me personally I find CIC's website to be transparent so I can do it myself. however I have had friends who started their journey to Canada via agencies and even though not successful or fruitful on first attempt, they give up hope cause they had spent too much money already. What are your thoughts guys?

I did pay for an initial consultation because I wasnt too clear on these rules, but then again English is not my first language and I don't know anyone who got PR for Canada and who could have cleared some things out for me.. legally speaking. But I'm not sorry, 200CAD for the analysis of options based on our CV's, including all the provinces walkthrough. Very clear and up to date, saved me a lot of time so I started preparing for IELTS in the summer. But other than that, I wasnt prepared to pay astronomical prices for someone to fill out our profile, naaah.. Everything else is on us.

Just a thought,

All who are hoping like me , can we have CRS so that we know score we all are on and just to congratulate each other when we get it. Just my thought. I was not knowing ... went to my profile and added these things.

^^ Same here!

Less than 48 hours to go! Excitement is in the air and fingers crossed that the points come down as much as possible! Good luck to everyone! :)

Hi. I'm sitting at 441. I went through the thread and hopefully my ITA will come soon - fingers crossed- Can anyone tell me what happens next? How should I be prepared? What kind of documents should I have prepared? And when I can I arrive in Canada once I receive my ITA?

Huh.

Time processing of the application vary, but they say no more than 6 months! It all depends, if you get your documents right, all can be resolved after 3 months. Medical is better to be done when you have all other documents ready so it can be done last and as close to the date of your application.

If you mess up documents and dont follow rules, it can be more than 6 months or denied.
