I was only mildly wondering, what was stopping you from retaking IELTS during whole year 2016. That way you missed 11 opportunities to get direct ITA in 2016 alone (when the score was on or below 471 points).

When it comes to not bothering much about getting Ontario PT (by not informing yourself properly what was happening), that was another big opportunity missed. I have seen older threads on this forum, where this bug was several times reported by different people. All it was needed was to follow up the whole situation clearly and to recreate you EE in order to be invited.

I was suffering from anxiety after the death of my father and Canada took a half step back. Fortunately 2016 has been much better and I've done all I can to get back on track. I'm putting it down to the positive attitude I get from here...Wait... No, scratch that.

As I said before, the average score since the start gas been 471. Let's see where it heads now

Yes you will need new medical. Medical needs to have at least 6 month of validity when you submit your application.
