yeah i guess that guy probably didnt know what he was talking about...

there is no such thing as PNP is gone and scores will drop lol... PNP nominations continue to be pumped out every single day...

That's why a lawyer firm's website is not really a reliable source. They need to hype up and only post positive news about the immigration system to attract new customers. I understand why they do it, but we should refrain from posting it in here.

Uhm, this forum is owned by the firm, so they have the rights to quote us. It's actually a smart move that they start promoting the forum.

Oh didn't know, I saw "cicnews" so never connected the two. This forum was smart move too, some of the people here should be on their paylist considering how much effort they put in analysis and predictions which they use in their news and services..

No need to pay us anything, just grant some of us moderator permissions. The forum needs a good clean up.

Dear 49th Express Entry Draw,

I have just one request to make : please surprise the optimists and shock the pessimists......

Do they ever do draws on other days aside from Wednesday ? Maybe tomorrow

Hi everyone,

Is there any news when the OINP will be reopen? I have CRS 440 and the minimum required CRS is 400. I'm looooooost :( I only have 2 months left and my PGWP will be expire. I'm thinking to retake the CELPIPE test to boost my level to gain more points, otherwise my family & I will be out of the country..

Thanks,

Apply for PR with the provincial nomination NOW. You could be waiting in vain for EE.

I thought it was closed and they were not accepting any more till next year nor sending out invites for ONIP ? I have a score of 448 but still not invite from the province.

We are in the same boat, your only hope is to get a provincial nomination or move job to where they have already done a LMIA.

I am even considering Nunavut or NWT.

Sorry to break the bad news to you, but two months are way too short to apply for any PNPs.

@Alexios07

As far as I remember your CRS score was around 468. With new guidelines, your score might have increased and there is high probability of you getting an ITA soon. Good luck!

I used to closely follow your posts between July-October regarding new rules, upcoming draws etc but then finally I got ITA on 19th October. Hope to get PR soon!

:'( This is really frustrating. I can't get the PR in Canada after I have spent more than 7 years. I have graduated in Canada with 2 years of work experience.

I don't know what to do now :-\!! My home country "Yemen" in war and no flights allowed to entry, I was thinking to apply as a refugee or H&C. However, these two options might take 33-44 months "processing time" and I can't afford to stop my only income and wait for an answer from CIC.

I wish if the old system back where you can apply as long as you gain your first year of work experience.

Thanks,

With Canadian Work ex and Canadian masters education, lot of folks (me included) got our scores way up to 530-540, so average score may rise. But the LMIA folks getting only 50 points now means that it effectively washes out that rise.

With Canadian workex+ education, I'd assume most guys would be ~ 500 more or less?

If you got scores to 530-540 (assuming 30 points for education), how come you were not cleared in the previous draws when the cut-off was 470-480?
