Right...the multiple choice question section is the hardest in Listening. Luckily I got small statements as answer choices and were fairly straightforward unlike those long answers which are difficult to grasp in half a minute.
Oh..don't they have a grace period or something..like 2 months in which you can find another job?kryt0n said:Much better now, thank you. It was a huge shock having to leave our new home because one woman reviewing my LmIA decided me having a degree wasn't essential for the role. Ugh.
I submitted my LmIA application and the work permit application before my other work permit expired.mukulabd said:Oh..don't they have a grace period or something..like 2 months in which you can find another job?
Yes. Ontario nominations will affect the downstream of cutoff score.mariabas said:Will the OINP nominations have any affect on the cut-off score for the next draw?
Oh. Well, now you won't need a work visa once you get a PR. 8)kryt0n said:I submitted my LmIA application and the work permit application before my other work permit expired.
I called a month after my work visa expired and said that my LmIA was still not received. After 2 months I got a 'work visa refused because no lmia result - restoration instruction's. So we stopped working and waited. Another 2 months and then the lmia was denied, so we booked a flight for two weeks later. (still in the 90 days restoration period). Ugh.
very unlikely... draws usually happen on wednesdays... and 3 draws have already taken place in october.JosephR said:Any draw today?
today is the last day of October.
very unlikely it will drop below 470, i will be pleasantly surprised if that happens...JosephR said:Yes. Ontario nominations will affect the downstream of cutoff score.
Ontario might have issued around 600 nominations on last Saturday (this figure is my guess only) + Let us assume an additional 500 as contribution from other provinces & LMIA
That makes total 1100 applicants above 600+ crs score accumulated.
If there is draw on next Wednesday 2nd Nov with 2000 ITAs,
2000 -1100= 900
This 900 ITAs may decrease the cutoff score by max 9 points to 466+
yeah i can imagine... but i'm sure overall you are probably in a better space today... helps to have steady good paying workkryt0n said:Much better now, thank you. No. Only 2 draws have already taken place in october.thestunner316 said:very unlikely... draws usually happen on wednesdays... and 3 draws have already taken place in october.
They have invited 1500+ applicants very consistently with pre EE backlog and now with the last draw of 1800 it is looking like the number is increasing. If it will not increase now it will definately increase from 2017 onwards because they said at the time of launching EE that it is 50% target of total immigration coming through EE and from 2017 all the applicants will come through EE. So with 50% they were inviting 1500 so they should invite 3000 applicants per draw with 100%. And with increasing the number of immigrants this number should increase to more than 3000. But let suppose 3000 is a unrealistic number. But what I understand with EE taking 100% applicants they cant stick to 1500 per draw because they will miss their targets that way. So there will be atleast 2000-2500 ITAs per draw from 2017 onwards and with high number of ITAs given consistently after every 2 weeks the score will fall automatically below 450.mukulabd said:^^^^
2 draws have taken place in october and that's what the trend has been so far : around 2 per month. Next month there will be 3 draws because of the 3 alternate Wednesdays. They usually keep it 2 weeks apart so that they get enough time to process the ITAs. It is unlikely that they will increase the number of ITAs and frequency of invites at the same time unless they increase their resources to handle it.
If the trend of 1500-1800 ITAs continue in the next draw. You should prepare your documents because you will get an ITA in next drawmariabas said:What are the chances for a score of 472 to get an ITA in the next draw?
