It usually does not drop so much all of a sudden, unless there is an unusual increase in number of ITA. I think this time it will drop to around 470, if at all.

I think mukulabd is right. In order to go down to 470 this time, they should get about 800 people to reach 480 (based on previous rouunds) and then we know that for 12 rounds candidates with 470 to 480 have not been selected, so they are accumulated. Assuming every two weeks there are even only 200 candidates in [470-480], then we know 12*200=2400 invitations are needed to cover 470-480. That is, in total something like 800+2400=3200 invitations are needed to be issued to invite everyone with scores above 470.

Now the question is do you think they are going to invite 3200 or so? It seems unlikely although still not impossible.

Feeling so dejected at 481 :-[

I think they don't want to get down below 482 that's why no draw today

For me, it looks that new changes are going to implemented soon and then lot of students from Canada will cross 480 easily
and then they will make 482 as the minimum .....as per the new trend that we are seeing from last 11 draws..
