1. if there are 2000+ express entry candidates exactly on 481 points,
2. there are around 1000 candidates on 482 points and above

If the draw size is 1500, then who would be picked up from 481 score category?

Can't be that way! They will have to decide the # of invitations first. Considering above scenario, if they have 1500 invitations to issue, you'll see the draw as 482 with 1000 candidates (more likely). 500 carry forward. This is just my opinion.

i hope the score is 480 today, just to prove all these people wrong.

I have been patient since last 1 and half year. At one point of time my score was 465 and cut-off was 467, only to know next draw shoot up to 480+ and never came down.

Fine with having patience as far as I am on right way. Just want to make sure I am not sitting idly.

any reason why you didnt apply for OINP when it was open late last year and earlier this year ?
also, did you try using your spouse as primary applicant to see how many points you got ? only asking this coz spouse has canadian work experience...
465 is still a good score, you can probably apply for OINP when it opens later this year, or wait for a few months till the scores drop...

if there are more than 1.5k candidates stacked on a single score ( 481 or 482), it's impossible to clear them ! Unless the number of ITAs exceeds the number of people with that particular single score.

Folks,

I never said it there 2000+ on 481. I gave the situation for the views. You can pick any number. Consider a number X, with more than 2000+ applicants.

How the draw will happen? Will it continue to be above X, even though the draw size is less. Since the IRCC cant go 2500+ size of draw, who they will drop?

Don't worry, I guess only about 500 people will be stuck at 481... It is true that 250 people get added to the pool in every draw with high scores, but that high score can be anything (475-483), not necessarily 481 alone...

Why not?

One single huge draw does not mean that huge draw will continue. CIC is in power to do whatever they need. Clear those with 481 once in a draw like 2000, make 3 weeks break between draws and return to normal with 1000-1200 ITAs

My personal wish today is 481 with 1500+ ITAs. Fingers crossed.

Don't worry, I guess only about 500 people will be stuck at 481... It is true that 250 people get added to the pool in every draw with high scores, but that high score can be anything (475-483), not necessarily 481 alone...

not to forgt when they say 250 people are added , it also means that probably 200 of them got PNP nomination that week or LMIA... which means tehy were already part of the pool...

hypothetically i dont know what would happen if there are 2k people stuck on same score... i'm suer its the case but it wont be above 400, for sure...

I am sitting and waiting idle at 463, i just hope CRS comes down as everyone is predicting, just hope we all get in no matter whichever source quotes it.
