It happens to others too. I didn't get CEC my first year in Canada because I was just some week off 52 weeks. So I missed a full year of eligibility. So it's the same for me. The express entry system isn't fair for anyone. People from some commonwealth countries get 2 years of in Canada. So they can get an LMIA without applying for example. Where as most people only get a year. And managing to work 52 out of 5 weeks to get CEC is not easy. For some people, it's their only window. I am at 470, lost out in Feb 19 draw due to tie breaker and waiting since. I will lose 5 points in May. Sure, the draws will resume after this is over but what about people who won't get another shot at this? Unfortunately no one is considering this part.
That's the only point of an ITA at this stage. For people like me, its now or never. We understand it may take longer for us to get to canada eventually and that's okay. But to lose out on this dream just because we were born between Mar to Jun (or till whenever this continues) is not fair.
And then this crap I'm seeing from others that them having a university degree makes them more civilized and ethical. That's the biggest bs I've seen. I have a degree as well. It means very very little
