Maxed out on IELTS.
CES didn't recognize my Master's as one so instead of 481, am at 474. Gonna lose 5 more next week.
Bro, a question. Why is that your Master Degree not recognized as Master Degree
Is that a 2 year program and whether was it a distance education or FT
Also, is that from India

I'm asking this because my Master Degree is from India (Anna University, Chennai) and it is a 2 year pgm
Plus on the certificate, it is clearly mentioned 'M.B.A. Distance Education'
Do you think I will get Masters Equivalency or I too might not get. Kindly share your insight ASAP
I'm due to get it in the next few days

I think it depends on total number of years after 12th. Mine was 5, 3+2. Although I wouldn't claim to be an expert. Mine was a full time course with certificate stating Masters. There is a ECA thread which has more information. Some did get Masters even from India, some didn't.

But how will they know if our previous degree is a 4 year term or 3. My UG is BE (4 years FT) and PG is MBA (2 years dist)
So how will they come with that idea about the person's UG is a 3 or 4 years term.
I assume that you have only sent your PG (MBA) transcripts to them. Not sure how they are aware about your UG

No, I sent both. Besides, it was mentioned on the website that they would ask for more documents if required. Also, they look into the rules needed to pursue a particular course in particular countries. Am really not sure how it works. Some MBA s have gotten masters as far as I can remember. All the best!

Well, it is good for the CEC and PNP dudes. 470s were snatching everything for the past 6 months and it is okay that they (high scorers) can wait now.
Let the low scorers breathe too
Hoping that once lockdown eases and once FSW draws happen, 460s and 450s can also have some good time.

118 PNP ITAs issued today.. so 3782 CEC ITAs will be issued shortly. Expect the CRS cutoff to drop to 455s!!
Wow!! I deserve a medal man! I got it pinpoint right! 3782 ITAs were issued and score is 455 for CEC. It is so easy to predict now :)

I need to decline my ITA due to incorrect information entered by mistake and my point becomes 463 CEC. If I declined my ITA now. Should get ITA in this round?

So now, anyone with a Canadian Master's and a decent IELTS score is eligible for PR. regardless of work experience. That's good stuff.

edit: nvm you need 1 year experience to qualify for cec

I already got my ITA on round 142 where the cut off is 464. But when i correct my information I have my point 463.
Not sure why people do not perform any sort of clear calculation when dealing with immigration. 1 decline is equal to snatching away a deserving candidate's opportunity.
Be a human. Do not decline ITAs and take away chances of others.
Humble request to all the lethargic and lazy fellows
