Hey Buddy,
I have a question. I believe you have an MBA and got MBA equivalency for that. If yes, from where did you get the MBA degree and did you opt CES to get the ECA done?
I studied MBA from Anna Univ (2 Years Distance Education) and my certificate reads MBA - Technology Management. I have sent mine to CES with a hope that they will give Masters Equivalency.
Do you think I will get the Masters Equivalency from CES if you have idea on this

I did a 1 year PG diploma distance course just to increase my CRS score, it was completed late 2019 and I don't have an MBA, just a bachelor's degree. CES gives Masters equivalency to Indian MBA but they take around 5 months to issue the ECA report.

I will have a score of 480 come August (3yr work ex). WES and IELTS done. Do people think 480 is safe for latter part of the year?
It is hard to say as August is still like 10 draws from now. Anything can happen after the FST draw. I wish we had data for candidates between 470 and 480. I am guessing candidates are most concentrated in this range for the time being.

Yeah, you are right. I think ~475 will be the cut-off unfortunately for this year.

This is in Delhi, India. I have finally joined a tutor for weekday classes of 90 minutes each. He said that if I practice atleast 2 hrs a day, I can achieve B2 level in 8 months.

Hi, please share the details of the tutor. I would like to take classes on weekends. Or if it's online session, I can join.

This is with max IELTS score so no more scope for now. I graduate with a PhD next summer, so I can max out my score to 496 but that is a year later.
I don't think scores over 480 are too easy to get, let along 496. In my opinion you should get an ITA later this year, if not definitely after you get your phd.

I have now changed my profile from spouse accompanying to not accompanying and hopefully, the increase in my CRS score from 453 to 472 should be enough to get an ITA on 18th March if there will be draw on the same.

If they issue 3900, You should be good.

Hey anyone knows how to get IMM 1017E? It seems like I need this to do upfront medical check (received ITA last month). I checked my IRRC home, I didn't receive this form. Shoull I contact them to send me one?

You don't need it. Just give panel physician your passport information.

You'll only get that form if you don't have the upfront medical exam. Book your medical with an approved panel phsyician, you'll be sent the results and you can upload it to your application.
