6 months maximum

Wrong. 6 months timeline is not for granted. For many applicants processing time often extends to 12-14 months. If you would scour through the forums here, you 'd find hundreds languishing in the limbo between now and forever.

As a matter of fact, given the current workload, you need to be in fate's good books, in order to get your passport stamped within 6 months.

Yes. The quickest nowadays are well above 7 months. Quickest PPR I've seen this year was of a class fellow who got it on 28th Aug, with AOR on 23rd January. Could be a month earlier when he got his ITA (I'm sure it was December, not sure about the date).

Any idea how much time it takes after getting ITA i able to fly?

I think it depends on your file. Processing time as published by CIC is 6 months. I have seen FSW-Outland candidates got passport request 4 months after AOR. I have read some even already 12 months but still in processing.

So, I can't really say as it's case-by-case basis. Depends on the immigration officer who handle the file as well.

Good luck.

After a long time in life I feel chills when this happens (the delay when expecting the draw). After a few years of being afraid of nothing this feels so messed up -_-
