Ray of Hope - 125th Draw

I had the same situation back when I was in the pool. From what I understood, CIC grants points for experience based on number of months not years, and they start counting the months from the first one, (like counting from zero) so you end up with the full required number of months a month earlier.

I don't remember where I read it or if anything changed in this regard so someone else can correct me if I'm wrong. I accepted the ITA back then when I still had a month to go to get my full 3 years experience and had no issues.

Thanks for this. I was surprised that I got additional 5 points (My husband is the principal applicant) even if my work anniversary is still on the 10th of September. Thought it was a mistake! I work 40 hours a week so it should be fine I guess.

I have applied for Ontario PNP through Express Entry (Human Capital) 3 weeks ago. My status shows Decision In Progress. Does anyone know how long does it take to get nomination from Ontario - I know they say 60-90- days on their website, but does anyone have recent experience on getting nomination sooner.

Also, what would happen if we get nomination after one year of Express Entry profile - do I have to create my Express Entry profile again? Will nomination points still work in that case? Any insight will be much appreciated.

Well, I don't think that it is reasonable to consider that they dropped it. I mean that the thing actually served a purpose. Letting the public know that servers would be down for routine maintenance is a very common feature for most government websites. It lets the public know in advanced to schedule their online activities on that website accordingly and thus prevents inconvenience to an extent. So why would they cut that out just eludes me.
But even then I am hoping for you to be right. Maintenance or no maintenance, draw has to happen.



It would be a disaster if a skip happens now. CRS would shoot up again to 465+. That would kill so many hopes.

Well IF a skip happens, yes it might feel like that, but we shouldnt loose hope

Well speaking of hope, I've been in and out of the pool since 2017. Only hovering around 370-390s cos of IELTS (have had 8.5, 8.5, 9.0 but 6.5 for writing.. and this happeded 4 times!!!). Have seen the score drop from 460s all the way to 415 and then all the way up again. I kinda gave up for a long time, but then I'm taking it up again.. all cos I'm hopeful that it will turn around for me someday. Well, we all should stay hopeful I think, no matter what.
If you guys aren't hopeful what should I be doing
