Quick question regarding WES evaluation. My friend got the following: Completion of a college-level certificate (one year) and bachelor's degree (four years).

Will she be able to claim 2 or more degrees for CRS?

Hi All, Just created my EE profile with CRS 470. Not sure if I'll be eligible in case a draw happens today or tomorrow (as I read in other posts that it takes upto 24 hours for profile to be active). Hoping for the best and wishinh you all the very best!

It seems that we don't have draw today :(
Why would it be? It is not a Wednesday.
Duh. :p (The previous draw that happened on Tuesday was a rarity. Draws usually happen on Wednesdays.)

Anyway, does anyone have any idea about maintenance notice, now that they have entirely revamped the login screen? I am sure they won't do away with it, since it is a PSA, but then again I don't see one on the login screen. Did any of you find it? Or is it just a bad omen signalling a skip.

Well, I don't think that it is reasonable to consider that they dropped it. I mean that the thing actually served a purpose. Letting the public know that servers would be down for routine maintenance is a very common feature for most government websites. It lets the public know in advanced to schedule their online activities on that website accordingly and thus prevents inconvenience to an extent. So why would they cut that out just eludes me.
But even then I am hoping for you to be right. Maintenance or no maintenance, draw has to happen.

Yup. Didn't see it, feeling low.
It would be a disaster if a skip happens now. CRS would shoot up again to 465+. That would kill so many hopes.

Can you guys please give me your opinion on my job responsibilities. Do you think they align closely with NOC 2134 (link for NOC description above):
  • Led the installation, commissioning and site acceptance test (SAT) of new

process equipment to comply with the latest OSHA regulations. The com- missioning and SAT phase involved running qualification trials, training Plant Personnel, and developing standard operating procedures.

  • Lead engineer that provided ongoing process support in the granular, peat, and clay bioprocessing areas.

  • Worked with third party companies including equipment vendors, contractors, and foreign industry consultants to execute engineering projects.

  • Supported the design and procurement of two bioreactors and researched

new equipment to improve the site’s biotechnology processes.

  • Provided engineering support for the launch and scale-up of new processes

transferred from Research & Development and New Platforms’ Process &

    Development.

  • Recently supported the launch of the company’s new B360 and B370 seed

treatment product, which is being sold by Novozymes’ alliance partners,

Bayer, as Acceleron B360 and B370.

  • Prepared project engineering documents, which included project specifica-

    tions, timelines, and economics.

  • Implemented LEAN methodology to troubleshoot daily bioprocessing issues

in the site’s fermentation and powder processing facility.
Thank you in advance for your comments.

I had the same situation back when I was in the pool. From what I understood, CIC grants points for experience based on number of months not years, and they start counting the months from the first one, (like counting from zero) so you end up with the full required number of months a month earlier.

I don't remember where I read it or if anything changed in this regard so someone else can correct me if I'm wrong. I accepted the ITA back then when I still had a month to go to get my full 3 years experience and had no issues.
