Yes a lot of tricks and deals are going on in Canada especially in Toronto to get PR. It is definitely not fair to the candidates who actually deserve success.

I will tell you my story. Me and two of my friends were in the same course and graduated together from diploma. I graduated with 98% marks and got job immediately in northern Ontario in NOC B. My friends didn't so they moved to Toronto. They both paid cad $20000 and got fake job offers for manager positions. They are both PR now and I am still struggling.
these kind of people already ruined us immigration system .....i know many people who got h1b in 70k ...... thats uncle sam is angry

Well why didn't you do the same then??
I have a very well paying job here in Sudbury. Why would I leave that move to Toronto and pay money for something illegal. Plus 456 was a really good score untill May so it seemed like a sure shot to get ITA in very first draw. Anyways, even now with this crazy high crs I wouldn't consider something like that.

Sorry! I didn't mean that in a rude way. I was just ssying that I would happily pay $20000 for PR.
I've actually encountered a similar case a year ago when I was searching for jobs in Toronto. A consulting agent (from a quite popular consulting company in that area) contacted me and said that they are hiring and told me to go for an interview. I went there and they told me that they will provide a job offer and also handle my immigration application for $15000. I was actually quite skeptical about it, and I told them that I would like to think about it first and would like to take a copy of the "agreement" home and decide later. The agent refuse and said that I am not allowed to take a picture nor take a copy home unless I've signed the agreement, which doesn't makes any sense to me unless it is something that is illegal. I have the money to pay for the $15000, but I just don't want to do anything that is illegal or in the grey area that will risk my future PR. At the end, I found a job myself at a small company which is not really well paid, but at least it is a legit job.

I got my ITA yesterday and submitted all the Docs today. Would like to thank all for the help I received from everyone in this group.
Good luck to all those waiting!

Hi! New here

CRS- 456

I’m a bit skeptical about the high CRS profiles that enter the pool few days or hours before the draw. I think they are responsible for the high CRS cutoffs. There are rumors that people are currently doing illegal stuff to get high CRS like false claims of 3yrs work experience and more. I think this is selfish on their part. Here’s hoping CIC fishes illegal applications out soon enough.

I have waited to get one-year consistent job experience as others were not. Now I have my IELTS expiring and even if I retake no hope for 456. its frustrating.

I would say because of the situation in USA a lot of students who have worked for 3-5 years with sponsorship are applying to Canada which also explains the high number of points.

Correction guys.
On my previous prediction, I mistakenly put (3600-262) in 601-1200 range, where it should be 3,660 - 407 (262 + 145). So, after the 24th July draw the CRS distribution should look like:

601-1,200 = 0 (3,600-407=3,193)
451-600 = 3,990 (7,183- 3,193)
441-450 =7,711

So, by 7th August, the score distribution would be approximately:
601-1,200 =406 (29x14days)
451-600 =6,762(3,990+2772(198x14days))
441-450 = 8,103(7,711 + 392(28x14days))

I estimated that with 3,990 candidates left in the range of 451-459,there were must be around 550 candidates having 459, maybe 800-1100 having 458 and the rest 2,340 are those between 451-457. By 7th August, there will be around 2772 candidates added to the pool in the score range of 451-600. Suppose from those, 1772 are having 458-600 points (772 of 459+ score and 1000 of 458 score) , and the other 1000 are having 451-457 points. Thus, if you added up 1,650 people having 458-459 from 24th July draw + 1772 people having 458-600 added until 7th August. Total is 3,422.

Thus,
with 3,600 ITA the cut off score will approximately 457-458
3,600 minus:
406(601-1200)
550 (459 left from 24th July)
772(459+ up to 7th Aug)
1,100 (458 left from 24th July)
772 (1,000 of 458 score up to 7th Aug)

with 3,900 ITA, the cut of score will be aporoximately 456-457.
3,900 minus:
406(601-1200)
550 (459 left from 24th July)
772(459+ up to 7th Aug)
1,100 (458 left from 24th July)
1,000 (458 score up to 7th Aug)
72( 2,340 of 451-457 candidates left on 24th July).

@Dheana90 just curious to know what will be the tie breaker the date if score is gonna be 457/458……?

In as much as I do understand you,I will advise u let this go behind u,just keep your fingers crossed, there is nothing we can do to changer what CIC will have to bring to us nxt 2 weeks...except we improve our scores.but one thing I can assure u is that what ever we see here is just guess work....you have a very good chance to get the ITA in nxt draw. Just relax bro...you never can tell what God have for us...don't worry much pray more and hope for the best.
