I created my profile on July 5th with 457 points. I have a strong feeling that if CRS cut off is 457 on July 24th, many of us will will be affected by tie breaker rule. What do you all think? Pool have so many candidates with 460,459,458 & 457 now. It will take at least 2-3 draws to clear all of them.

One more point to add, just take it easy, I know it is difficult but to me that was the key. I had to take almost 12 times for almost two years before getting 8777. I recently took the test again (CBT) to see if I can improve anything better. Since I knew it was not gonna give me much in terms of crs, I was very calm and didn't even prepare for a day. I just went as if any other usual day for the test and I got 9/8.5/7/7 this time - holy cow, the score I was trying for for almost 2 years. My score is now 453 from 450. Only 3 points jump, but still it was worth it.
Thanks! Couldn’t agree more. I took 2 IELTS since May and I did realize my nervousness seems to be the biggest challenge of me getting that 8777.

My working language is English (verbal and written), but in both IELTS I screwed up in the Speaking part. After my 2nd attempt I suddenly realized when I get nervous I speak very very fast and (thus) start to make mistakes and repeat myself. Now as I think of it, the IELTS Speaking test is no harder than any of the job interviews / presentations etc. in my company and those were all in English as well. So I guess it really takes a bit of time to overcome that nervousness and the result would be a natural thing.

Also I also find CD tests easier myself. Possibly because we are more familiar to computers interfaces rather than pen & paper after several years of work. Especially the Writing part - I almost did not finish my Task 2 in my first attempt as I had only 25 mins left it, but typing is so much faster and more effective with cut-and-paste short-cuts... The Reading part was also easier because of the copy-and-paste tricks.

These people are from the existing pool. Only change that will happen is that these individuals will move from 440s/450s to a 600+ score category. So those 440/450 spots free up.
So can it cause a high CRS eventually? or for at least next 3-4 draws? You only have a total cap of 3600 slots and 1600+ will cover from these 600+, right?

Yes but eventually it will clear. I don’t think the cut-off could remain at 455+ by the end of the year. Seems to me it’s only a matter of time for you 455+ guys.

Thanks mate. I find it easier on computer too, especially for the reading and writing part. I had 2 attempts since May and I think I just started to get a feeling of what IELTS actually wants. Finger crossed for my upcoming 8 tests haha XD
I’d like to have it on computer. Not an option in the UK though.......

Basically, those with OINP get a chance to jump over the cut off instead of through the cut off. So the effect would be a slight increase CRS when they get ITAs because the number of ITA going out in the 600+ range do not have an effect of reducing the cut off. For example if in one draw, all the ITAs are given to those with 600+ points, no regular FSW candidate will get ITA. That will of course result in cut off increasing because no fsw candidate is moving ou

For proof of funds a letter from the financial institution is required showing the average balance for 6 months , Does anyone have the format for that letter?

I have got invitation under OINP program, and my current CRS score is 447 ,However I will be completing my 3 year of work expierence on August 12th ,2019 (next month)
so it will boost my CRS score from 447 to 472

I have 45 days to accept OINP invitation .Even though 472 looks safe score to get ITA ,but i would like to get yours view points shall i accept OINP and follow PNP route or wait to get ITA in express entry ?

Please comment

You still have time within the 45 day window where in if you wait you will get 472 points and get direct ITA. It probably make sense to wait at least till close to your 45 day window end and then decide if you still have received direct ITA, because 472 is a high enough CRS score at this point

Bro, ur predictions has been so accurate but I wud like to correct this post as below:
Correction:
470 to 465: -5
465 to 462: -2.28
462 to 460: -2.44

Explanation:

ITA 3350, lower 470 to lower 465= -5
ITA 3350 lower 465 to higher 462= -2.28 (not 3, please also check the cut off)
Hence fall in the rate of decreasing CRS = (2.28/5)*100= 45.60%

Now considering the same fall of 45.60% in decreasing rate, 10 th July CRS would drop by (45.60/100)*2.28= 1.03 with 3350 ITA
Hence CRS would be 461 if ITA was 3350
But 3600 ITA brought it down to 460:)

Now going further, it’s not a 462-460= 2 point decrease as explained below:

Only 11 days accumulation of 462 was cleared during previous draw hence 84% of 462 were still remaining
And 40% of 460 are remaining now

Hence total decrease is as below:
84% of 462 got cleared
100% of 461 got cleared
60% of 460 got cleared

Hence it is a 2.44 CRS points drop not 2:)

Thank you for doing the detailed analysis and providing us an insight into the backlog. What are your prediction for the next draw on July 24th?

I think it was on Ontario's list about 3-4 years but not since. PNP may have had a different system at the time (i.e. not picked from the EE pool by CIC). It shows up on the Global Talent Stream (Category B) for employers so I assumed it was on a PNP target list too. Thanks.
No, not this time. This is a new tech program

Your score is well above the cutoff. Just wait till next month.
You will anyway spend 2 months more to get the 600 PNP points so no point taking that route.
