I agree with the fake profiles. It has been a serious headache for all the genuine people. I dont understand the stupidity why they want to create a fake profile, when they cannot accept it. And we have no idea how many of the profiles are fake ones.
There is a crazy crowd this year applying for EE. But this fake profile issue cannot be overlooked, no matter how smaller their percentage is.
I tweeted twice to IRCC, but did not get a response. Some days back a lady seems to call IRCC to report this issue. They replied that send the details of the person who has done this. They will ban that person from applying to IRCC for a year. But there is no way we can report a person, as we dont have the valid details.
IMO the only way to handle this issue is to charge CAD 50 or CAD 100 atleast while submitting the EE application in pool. This can be adjusted if the person gets ITA and applies for PR; OR can be refunded back to the account in case profile expires/rejected.
Absolutely right way to minimize the fake profiles. There should be a charge while submitting the profile.
These stupid people don't even understand how badly it affects the deserving candidates, one can lose points due to birthday and could lose his/her entire opportunity because one fake profile got the ITA.

And just imagine the damage when a single person creates multiple fake profiles !!!!

Chances are always there, but not good to predict so far, cic May give 3 week or 4 week gap anytime
Moreover, pls don’t forget the huge chunk of candidate accumulation from 453-458 per day from 1st May to June end
Never mean to demoralise, but I advise to go for ielts, don’t rely on cic
Yeah I think I am gonna try it again to max out my ielts, or wrap up my PhD to reach 460+

I honestly think the gap would not happen again this year, unless they plan to suppress the amount of ITAs they intend to issue this year, or they want to conduct fewer draws and send larger amount of ITAs (i.e., 7000+) at once like what OINP is doing now.

Last year they issued 88700 ITAs, with 25 draws for non program specified.
This year so far there have been 10 draws with 34600 ITAs.
Assuming the total ITAs will still be 88700 this year with 15 draws left, that gives (88700-34600)/15 = 3606.6 ITAs for each draw.
If the gap happens again, the next draw size would have to increase as well.

Hi
Just saying, im at 495 with with masters degree, 2 years work exp, ielts and tef.

Masters degree doesnt make much difference, just bachelors+2 years work exp+english+french is enough to go over 470.

I'm not a native English or French speaker, took 3 months of dedicated intensive French classes and did the proficiency test for easy points.

So if you have English and French, 470 is not that hard to achieve.
Hi @Avmaia , is it possible to achieve nclc 5 with 3 months study for a beginner? I mean beginner does not have any knowledge of French.
I some forums I have learnt it takes 1-2 years to reach to nclc 5

How can there be a draw on 5th June?
It was not always a draw followed by system maintenance in the past.!
There are 15 draws left in 7 months this year, which means one of the months would probably have 3 draws.
If draw 119th takes place on 5 June, then draw120th could be on 19 June, and the draw 121st would happen in July. So yeah it is possible.

It was a common mistake. Pcc did not cover entire stay in the country.
That is helpful.
So if I stayed in a foreign country for 12 months
Then come back to home country for 10 days
Then went back to foreign country for 3 months
Then next 6 months in my home country
Then next month again in foreign county
Foreign country is same in all visits

So what period my pcc from foreign country should include?

Dear Members,

What changes can we expect in the express entry post elections assuming if Conservatives win? My Noc is 1223 and chances of PNP are bleak. My crs will be 448( if I max out Ielts score and my PGDM is considered equivalent to masters) or in case of diploma, it will be 441. Losing all hopes, can't even focus on my Ielts now after seeing the cut offs.
