Hi All,
I have a query regarding the wes evaluation , so in my university they are giving me the sealed transcripts which i have to take to the university post office then pay and courier from there .Should i just courier that cover so keep my passport copy along with it in a bigger cover and courier?

Hey guys, Im a new member with Score of 451. I got a really nice job offer recently but my work permit will expire on June 23rd.

I know there will be a big spike on next draw and I wont be selected for sure with 451 (May 29th). Which means I only have one chance left on June 12th before my work permit expiry.

Im really freak out, lets pray together some good thing will happen.

Good thing is yes, there will definitely be a draw next week and you will get an ITA before June.

But, you'll have to have all your documents prepared so you can submit the PR application immediately and then apply for a BOWP in order to be on implied status in Canada.

I myself was in a similar situation. I got my ITA on Nov 15th and my work permit was ending on Nov 20th.

I managed to submit my PR application on Nov 17th and BOWP application on Nov 18th.

So make sure all your documents are ready to go before you get an ITA! (Medicals, Police certificates, job ref letters etc.)

Thanks for giving me hope. My previous PR application got rejected due to incompleteness. They waited 45 days to tell me that i need a new PCC and i have to resubmit everything from scratch. It is so unfair as i have seen people getting rejected for incompleteness after a week or two of submitting their application. I do have all my stuff ready and as soon as i get the ITA i will submit it.

Why they asked for a new PCC. Did it expired before you received your AOR ?

Unfortunately they are very behind on all applications. Be thankful they at least got back to you in 45 days!

I'm sure you will be fine but make sure your application is bullet proof this time because there's hardly any room for errors considering your timeline!

Please how long was the pcc you submitted initially? I mean when did you process and when did you use it?

I stayed in Pakistan for about 8 months while waiting for my study permit to be processed and i got a PCC at that time. My study permit got approved with the same PCC. There is no expiration date on it so i thought since they accepted it for the study permit, they will also accept it for PR. The date mentioned on the PCC is april 2013 and i left the country in december 2013 which means i stayed in the country for 6 months. According to the express entry rule i needed a new one but i wasn't aware of it

I believe there is a way around this type of cases. I read somewhere that an applicant applied for a BOWP with a LOE and then once the ITA was received he applied for PR and provided the AOR to the BOWP application.

But this is a scenario where you will have to apply for PR relatively soon after the BOWP before they get to actually process it. Without the AOR they will refuse the BOWP.

Maybe you should try consulting a lawyer and they should be able to better advice you.

I feel kinda lucky that they got back to me before my work permit expired as i would have been in deep trouble if they rejected my application after my work permit expired. i do have a couple of questions. I will private message you. Thanks alot for your help

What work permit are you in OWP or CWP ? Can't your employee file an extension ?
