Yup, hopefully they have a draw on Monday. 4 week draw will be insane for next few months. Still haven't really recovered from the 3 week draw from January and now this :D
CIC purposely doing this i think ~ They want the point to stay at least 450 or more this year

This is seriously distressing. With a score of 449, I guess I'll have to keep a watch out for any PNP related updates.

Did a lot of digging but didn't find any PNP that I'm eligible for. Does anyone know if people have been successful getting a job offer from outside Canada?

Yes, considering the fact that the # of ITAs issued have been same since end of January compared to regular increase in the # from previous years
Or way too many people applying for a PR.

Extremely hard without being there. I have been applying from the US, still no luck.

Maybe look into Global Talent stream and check if there are any companies in your field that use this option.

On the topic of PCC, I want to ask for your expertise on my situation. I was living in Germany since 2013 and decided to move back beginning of this year. I already had the plan for Canada so I applied for the PCC in person since that's convenient for me and the issuing authority.

My flight was on 8th Jan 2019, 6-7th Jan was weekend. So I went to the office on 4th Jan and that's the date mentioned on my certificate. Do you think a few days of difference will have any effect?

I wanted to explain this on the LOE but since ITA is taking longer than expected (sigh) and it seems like it would take at least a few months to get to 448 (even if it does), I could try apply again online though I don't know the process. But I would only go through all that again if its necessary. What do you guys think?
Hi there
Get it done with your departure date. It should cover your entire stay. LoE won't help you.

Since you are in Bangladesh you need to submit your passport in Bangladesh. We faced a similar confusion and followed this route and things were smooth. Just take the print out of the PPR email and as Long as your Wife’s name is in your passport, you should be good

Hi All, need your suggestion about something.

I & my wife completed the express entry application and received ITA back in 2018 October. (She is working in Sweden & the primary applicant, I am working in Bangladesh & is the dependant). Throughout the application, we provided our respective addresses in Sweden & Bangladesh, She completed her medicals and biometric from Sweden, I completed mine from Bangladesh. Yesterday she got the passport submission request (as she is the primary applicant).

My question is, do I need to submit my passport in the Bangladesh VFS office (as I have completed my biometric & medical from here and my address is from Bangladesh) or I need to submit my passport in Sweden along with wife's passport (as she is the primary applicant)? They haven't mentioned anything specifically about where we need to submit passports if we stay in different countries for work but under the same application.

Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Guys,

What are we looking at for a number of EE profiles above 460 after a 4-week draw?

I’m just spitballing here but I think the chunk of candidates lie in the 450-460 range, don’t you agree?

Don’t they take a mean distribution of the candidates scores and issue a cutoff on the closest number?

Maybe you are right. Since it's going to be an online application with minimal cost and I seem to have time, I will request again. Better to be safe.
Thanks for the advice.

Yea Next draw should be 460+ but it will go back to 450-460 and stay there for long term

I know this is crazy and hard to watch but everyone please dont lose hope just yet.

If you add up all the draws in 2018 upto May 23rd you get almost the same number of iTAs as have been issued this year until today. And in 2018, they were already issuing 3500 ITAs by now. By July-Aug, it was 3750 and from September (I think) it was 3900. So....

a) They have issued almost the same number of ITAs until today as they did last year.
b) Targets are higher this year

Which means even if they wanted to just hit last years targets, they will have to follow last year's patterns at the very least. Which means increasing number of ITAs issued every draw. In addition to that, this years targets are higher.

I am not denying whats in front of us. This sucked. It will probably take a while for the cutoff to recover. But I dont think its completely hopeless. I dont think its going to remain at 455-460 this year.
