Very hard to say, but CIC may surprise us all the time. If you can, try to do 1 year diploma study.
Hello. Thank you for your reply. I am currently pursuing my PG diploma which will be completed by October 2019. Once I update this, my score jumps to 474. I updated my profile just in case with the score of 441, optimistic after seeing the draw with 438 as cut off. However, based on your suggestions, it is highly unlikely that the score may drop below 445 before the year ends.
I can stop being anxious and wait patiently till the year end to update my score and hope for the best.
Does this sound right?

I know I may hurt your feeling ~ It will take a long time to reach 441 (or even not by current trend)

Think any possible way to get 447+

Little tricky through conventional route. You can consider PNPs.

Does this sound right? Also, I am not too keen on the PNP personally due to the restrictions of staying in the same province for 5 years.

You're mistaken buddy. Its not 5 years! Minimum 2 years is the condition in the PNP stream.

I have done some research in PNP and the restriction you are talking about. People still move out of their nominated province if they don't get the job they want. It is very rare that CIC will ask and question anyone that why they moved out. But still if they do catch someone, you should have proof like you applied for the jobs in that province but didn't get any positive result. No one will throw you out of Canada.
Most of the provinces provide the nomination on job offers only, so people rarely move out. it only applies to Ontario mainly since they nominate people who doesn't have job offer in Canada.

This is sad, have no words to say anything.

Is there any chance if you can increase your scores by reattempting IELTS or anything else? Figure that out.

Yes this is the best way for you, October is just around the corner.

Everyone need to take an extra step to boost their score now.

Correct. Once you become PR through PNP nomination, you have to do your best to find a job and get the results during first 6 months approximately. If you don't have any positive result, then you're good to move out of that province. There's no rule which prohibits that and if it is a case, that would a violation under Canadian Constitution Act regarding freely moving within Canada.

Sounds awesome. Keep studying hard and get that PG diploma evaluated once you finish your program. Next year is yours I believe.

I think they did the right thing. Guys, we need to put a stop somewhere.

WILP is a correspondence course. Indian two-year regular masters programs don't get a Masters from WES so how can we expect a correspondence course to get so?

I have an update. Yesterday I reached out to WES through ContactUs asking them to reevaluate. Surprisingly, I got a response from them that they have reviewed and would send updated report in a day. The report arrived an hour back stating that WILP Masters correspondence degree is equivalent to Master's degree. All this happened in less than 24 hours. My score jumped from 450 to 457 now. The unfortunate thing is I am going to lose this 5 points next week as my birthday is coming up and it will reduce to 452. I had submitted my EE profile in March 1st week. I missed the golden ITA.

My mistake was to blindly accept what WES evaluated. I didn't realize this until I saw in another forum that there are people who faced same situation and got it reevaluated from WES.

I hope this is helpful for other people and they don't make such mistakes and lose valuable time.

Congrats. Get ready your documents for post ita application coz you will get an ita next round. Have a wonderful birthday and forget about those 5 points. Consider it like you're doing a donation :D:cool:

i read somewhere that the next draw will be a PNP one .. is there any truth to this ? if this happens what should we expect ?

Great to hear. People should double check with WES if their report is not positive. Thanks for the information.
