As we can see CIC's annual target for 2018 was to issue 74,900 ITAs only, anyhow it ended up issuing 89,800 ITAs in total, which is almost 15000 more than the initial target.
So, based on that fact we can assume this year's target to be around

81400 + 15000 = 96400.

Which seems highly likely and totaly legit! We will surely witness an increase in the ITAs during the second half of the year. Only then the trend of 450s would be reduced extensively.

During 2018, 78,200 was high end target for CEC, FSW and FST . Total ITAs issued was 89,800 which also included PNP ,which was around 13% - 11,674 . Net they issued 78,126 ITAs which is inline with 78,200 target.

So assuming they will hit high end target again 2019, 86,000. We can add approximate PNP number to it as 11 K., So they could issue 97000 ITAs during 2019.

Because they don't count the number of itas as a target, that's why they may need more itas to fulfill the annual target which is the number of landed immigrants as a PR.
Yes! This indicates, the number of ITAs to be issued will be greater than the given targets. So it won't be restricted to 3350 figures in the following months. There surely will be an increase.

Despite the claims made by other members here, who keep on saying that the ITAs won't exceed 81,000-84,000 this year. They need to scruitinize their calculations closely.

At this point, the itas issued till date are 31,250. However, we're 4 draws away from the second half of this year. Till then the number of ITAs would further increase to
31250 + 3350*4 = 44650

Whereas this year's ITAs target would be nearly 93000-96000. So approximately 50,000 ITAs could be issued in the latter part of 2019. This aim cannot be achieved with just 3350 ITAs in each round.

Makes sense! As there were a few PNP draws in the latter part of 2018, I believe, also this year Ontario and other provinces will conduct couple of draws after july onwards.

Hey Nik,
I'm glad to see that you took over my words #itas. I am keeping my promise, ROH 116, that I won't talk about number of itas untill cic will increase them. However, I love to read the posts talking about #itas.:):):):)
Good luck with your ielts, May 11.

Hi All, as I am almost about to create my EE profile. i am trying to gather information on the documents required after ITA. The very first question I have is regarding PCC;
1. As I am primary, my case is pretty much simple... like till 2017 i was in India and then from 2017 I am in USA. So, I will need 2 PCCs. one for India and other for US. But my question is: Does PCC has any dates on it?
2. Now for my husband, He was in India till March 2015.The he travelled to US and stayed here till May 2016.then again he came here in January 2017. So, does he need 3 PCCs? like 2 for US (one prior stay and one for current stay) and 1 for India?

Sorry if the question is absurd.... Also, if anyone could give a pointer to any informational video.

1. PCC will just have the date when the certificate was generated. I got my US PCC yesterday and it's just a single date. That should be within 6 months from your APR application date. The India one too has the same thing, just one date and since you are already in the US, it shouldn't matter if it was issued beyond 6 months & after you left India. Also, note that the Indian PCC in US takes more than a month. I had got mine last year.

2. Just 2. For India and US.

I got it done from the San Francisco consulate and they take a month for sure per their website.
The times would differ from consulates, just check the processing time at the NY consulate.
Also, apply in person, else you won't have your passport with you till they give the PCC :)

I could distinctly remember him having followed previous 3 ROH threads. I couldn't make out how he believes that he knows it all. And if he's already a lawyer and settled in Canada, then what's the purpose of being in this forum. Certainly, the views/comments don't appear to be helpful, but very discouraging. Basically, he's 'dashing the hopes' in this 'Ray of Hope' thread, so he's not the right fit here!
